This is inspiringly beautiful - from the flame/fire of the sword, to the way you have made the whole mini look like it's in dim light, her beautiful skin, the subtle arch of her eyebrow...

I like it!  Dark yet colorful, and moody but not muddy.  Great differentiation in contrast.

Is that a "reflection" of a curving horn on the blade?

There's a lot to explore with OSL, especially combined with metallic effects or other simulated shininess.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for noticing it, Derek!  Yes, my intention was to try to put reflections of her environment and armour into the NMM and OSL.

Yeah, great work with that reflection!  My eye caught the repeated curve in that particular shade of ocher, and interpreted it the way you intended.

I almost never try to paint recognizable reflections in my NMM, but I painted reflections of this guy's OSL-flaming mace on his shiny armor: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/82166-60205-barzillai-thrune-inquisitor-of-asmodeus/

(Also, looking through the gallery on your website now.  Wow, a great body of work!)

Brom or Vallejo would have been proud to paint an evil princess like this.

Wow!  Thank you very much, that's quite the compliment.

Hello everyone, I'm mostly done with the second Ogre, I just need to do some touch ups. It's clubbing time, the Ogre way! This one is the 77454, Ogre Clubber sculpted by Bobby Jackson. I swapped the top of its club with that of the 77455, Ogre Smasher. I also added a skull at his waist belt on the left side. As always I used Reaper MSP paint.

Hello everyone, I'm currently working on an Ogre gang and completed the painting on this model last night. This is a 77455, Ogre Smasher sculpted by Bobby Jackson. I swapped the top of its club with that of the 77454, Ogre Clubber. I also added three more skulls at his waist belt. it was all painted with Reaper MSP paint. I will complete the base later since I may add more elements to it.

Another zen of Bones…i.e. not a lot of effort and didn’t remove all the mold lines, but it is good enough to play with. The colors are a tad washed out using the Reaper portable light box. I thinkI am going to spray paint the inside black to quit messing with the exposure on my iPad.

Anyways, here he is. C&C welcome.

      Cheers-Mike

I saw the Rocky miniatures, and with how cute they are I could not resist getting one to use as a dragon to send against my players. As such, here is my take on the Flying Rocky, as a juvenile Red Dragon!
