Loke BattleMats is running a campaign for their third "Set of 2 spiral-bound Battle Map Books for RPG", after Dungeons and Town and Taverns. 

Loke has finished shipping their previous KS, and has fulfilled all six of their previous KS. The Wilderness Battle Map Books follow the same format as their previous two. 

Loke BattleMats will also have digital maps for VTT at a low price, including freebies.

Previous SG's included free vinyl cling sets (reusable stickers) and Little Book (supplementary maps).

I have their towns and taverns, the dungeons, the giant book of battle maps, as well as 2 of the little books of maps and they’re wonderful. I use them all the time.

Remember that with two books, you can place the books side-by-side differently to create new playing areas -- and will get twice the clings!

 

A second "Little Book" is a good choice, since it's only $10 and adds to the variety of maps you can make with this and previous map books.

Combat Twist 150-card add-on is $30. Not entirely sure about it, especially since Loke's going to toss in a 100+ Encounter PDF free later on.

Loke also has a free 5e adventure in most pledge levels.

 

I've backed their previous two book KS and their customer service is great. This project is a little larger, with the card-add on, GM screen, hardback book, and wooden die.

 

Loke Battle Mat accessories are also available retail, and I expect you should be able to get these items retail as well. The KS is *very* good with the digital freebies.

I did the early ‘extended’ to get the little book, which I think is also worth the $9US. 
 

Not thrilled to see they’re fulfilling around Christmas because of the trash USPS nowadays but, one can hope.

I hate the "Forest" maps that just look like medical photos of Kermit's zits, and think that in general these maps are much less impressive than their previous campaigns', but I've bought all their other books so may as well stick with them for this one. Hopefully there will be some nice stretch goals.

Yeah, the "stumps" remind me too much of the logging days in the US.  

 

I expect the KS to hit the free Wilderness Scenery decal pack SG. Cover up those naked trees with some foliage! Or just drown them under a lake. 

 

You get one for *each* set in your pledge. So Double Wilderness and Wilderness Master will get two sets of decals!

My plan for all the stump maps is to make use of my trees from Monster Fight Club, as well as Dwarven Forge, in addition to terrain pieces from both companies that act as foliage to ‘spruce’ it up. Any ‘stump’ left visible will be an actual stump and the trees I have will dress up the 3d elements and not make it look like a massive logging operation. But it also gives me the option to horrify a Druid or ranger and just put the map down to indicate some kind of massive deforestation.

They have. I bought all their books at once in their last KS.

You can also see if the books are available retail. Lower shipping costs if you hit free shipping. 

 

I highly recommend the 2x2 double-sided Battle Board for the price.

Yes they have made other books available via pledge manager in the past and I got down with that action in the last KS. My plan is to buy a second set of The Dungeon map books in the PM this go around.

Who wants 340 pages of 1000+ free encounters? 

 

Sure, it's a PDF, but you can print out what pages you want, rather than lug around another book. Dungeon, town and tavern, and wilderness encounters.

 

A hardback dead tree version is available as an add-on (£22) or as part of the higher pledge levels (£100 and £120).

 

Or if you live digitally, it's part of the £8 pledge, with a ridiculous amount of virtual content. Physical product will be available retail, so, if you're not sure, pick this pledge level!
