While the title may sound like a part of a weird children's book series, it's actually a trio of Kingdom Death Pin-ups!
The Bug Thief, her right arm goes across her face so I've left it off for now.
The Swamp Girl. I have to paint her base, paint her and then sandwich the clear bit in between without making a mess.
The Dogpole Mother, the hard part will be painting the Dogpoles so that they actually look like something!
Starting with the Bug Thief:-
Painted her face and boobs (Rosy Flesh > Flesh Wash > Rosy Flesh > Rosy Flesh/Light Flesh), added a touch of Scarlett Red to the final highlight for her lips and painted her eyes (The left one is a bit buggy, but I'm hoping it'll look better once I paint her hair).

Presenting the Ram Pin-up from Kingdom Death, I imagine this is what quest-giving NPCs look like in that world, sketchy, half-naked dudes who always have one more dubious item for you to fetch before they'll let you have the promised fancy sword.
I'm reasonably happy with how he turned out. He's a little rough in places, where my brush control wasn't quite up to the task, but I don't think I did too bad.
As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Presenting Octoberfest Aya, a pair of seasonal themed minis from Kingdom Death. Like all their recent holiday releases you get a large scale pin-up version, and a smaller, not quite so scantily dressed, gaming one.
There's a few issues (painting beer is hard!) and they're both a bit rougher looking in hand, but I'm really happy with them, particularly Big Aya as I don't paint many large scale minis.
As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Working on something new.
I don't paint many large scale minis, so thought I'd make a thread.
Like all the newer Kingdom Death holiday releases, you get a large display mini and a smaller gaming mini, in this case it's range regular Aya as some sort of adventuring barmaid.
I made a little start to the larger Aya:-
Working on her barrel as it will involve lots of messy drybrushing. So far the barrel has had a basecoat of Parasite Brown/Ochre Yellow, the barrel stand is a base of Parasite Brown/Scarlett Red and the fancy end is Bronze. It then all got a good coat of Brown Wash.

Presenting Angry Joe, the last of my Survivors from the Gigalion expansion from Kingdom Death. He believes the best defence against monsters is to wear a suit made of their skin.
Had a lot of fun painting this one, Gorm armour is my favourite set despite all the little details, now I just need to paint the Gigalion itself.
As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly recieved.
