ced1106
I don't need another $100+ dungeoncrawl, but a $40+ one? Hmm... maybe. The Tiny Epic gameline has a strong following on BGG. I haven't played too many of their games, so do your research. The few games I've played seemed to balance out theme, Euro rules, and streamlined play. As far as I can tell, only the Potions expansion will not be available retail, so I might wait until then for sale. Too many games in the queue as it is. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/coe/tiny-epic-dungeons/description
Dan d'Lyon
A friend of mine jumped in right away. I've played several of their games and always have a great time. Tiny Epic Galaxies is probably my favorite, but this looks like a blast.

I might get into Galaxies. maybe even the micro version as it only $15 and can fit in my bag to carry for traveling. I will keep watching this one to see how it plays out. Disciple of Sakura
I'm in, just for the miniatures. $48 for an entire dungeon delving board game with some decent minis is worth the cost, I'd say.
strawhat
I really wish Tiny Epic Pirates was delivered already. Overall, I was pretty well satisfied with how that campaign unfolded, and I'd like to consider adding a couple things I passed on during that campaign. But starting another KS while the las hasn't delivered (or even started delivering) doesn't sit well with me. I'm not suggesting that anything improper is going on, I just don't like it. And a dungeon crawler that you can play in an hour-ish? That's mighty tempting.

Edit: I see its fulfillment date was scheduled for March 2021, and it's most recent update was this week, stating that product was on its way to fulfillment centers. I'm less concerned about this if they're in process of fulfilling their last KS and are just moving on to the work of the next one. Marvin
I don't have any concerns about the fulfillment, really, though I agree it's not the best form--they're just of a size/competency level where they streamline like that, from what I understand?--but I do wish it had fulfilled first just so I could see it lol. Pirates will be my first encounter with them. I reminder'd this, will prolly back. Because, you know, D&Dy. Looks fun.

And I want my TEP!
ced1106
Retail companies typically have multiple projects going in different stages of progress -- it's just that you don't notice this when it's retail. I mean, what do you expect the game developers to do while waiting for the game to be printed in China, right? OTOH, Small projects, with creators who have a day job or take part in the entire process (eg. metal an resin casters), have higher risks than retail companies, so, sure, wait until done. Tiny Epic retail game content is pretty much the same as KS. Seems that, rather than loading their KS games with KSE's, they add a small expansion, which is Potions, and digital content. If you can skip the KSE, you can get the game retail for the same or less than the price of the KS plus shipping. 1

They do a good job with their games, producing them with good quality and sending them out on time. I don't have any problem with this, because I know they've shown they'll deliver. I'm surprised that they're using miniatures for this, and not their usual meeples, to be honest.
Heisler
I have, galaxies, black galaxies, western and quest. Great games I have no qualms about anything this company does. I eagerly awaiting pirates and I have no worries there, after all the ship has reached the dock. I have backed this one too. tpugmire
I’d be in if there was an option for just the minis.

Yep. A BGG paraphrased Gamelyn Games: They didn't feel that Item Meeples provided any value added to the game; the mechanics didn't dictate a need for them. They also thought this was the right theme to add miniatures to their game offerings. They originally had Item Meeples in mind, but changed to miniatures. https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2604338/prefer-itemeeples-over-minis/page/2 Doesn't say enough, but that's what they said. From the comments in this thread, I'm speculating that miniatures (and game theme) open the game up to attract a larger audience.

It's a great deal for the minis even if you never use the rest of it.
