live Tiny Epic Dungeons

Been watching since launch, finally backed. I really enjoy TE Quest and TE Galaxies, TE Pirates had crazy value and is on the way.

 

I get the miniatures have broader appeal, but meeples are the Tiny Epic aesthetic. The minis look good and will certainly find use, but I might go buy some meeples to replace them in the game...

You never know, you might like the game. I seriously doubt they will add a minis only add-on, but you never know.

Ugh.  Life, as it does, "got in the way" and I missed the KS.

Three KS got in the way, so I  skipped the KS. 

 

AFAIK, the only content you missed was the $5 potion expansion (which does not have miniatures). The rest will be available at retail. After the standard 20% discount and free shipping, I think you'll be able to get it at the same price as KS backers (if not better, if you can find TE on a boardgame sale).

It looks like the$40 edition still contains the minis, at least from what i read.  Are the minis for only early takers?

The minis in the Dungeon Story expansion come at the $40 level or are available as an add on. This would have been available to anyone in the Kickstarter but may not be available if you are waiting for the retail version.

I backed primarily for the minis, but I'm happy to have a dungeon questy game I can play without having to prep for a full Pathfinder session. Of course, I also backed Hasbro's HeroQuest reissue, too...
