Zombicide Invader.

I've bought it at retail and not having the KS exclusives is bumming me out. So I tend to just back the Zombicide stuff to get the exclusives. Flavor matters to me, playing as Mr T, Machete, etc, makes the game for me! No real effect on gameplay, other than some of the tributes are a bit OP (which I find fun).

Though with Massive Darkness, the KS exclusives actually made it (imo) the full experience. The monster variety is just so much better.

I really have not missed out on a single kick starter that I now regret not getting in on. Of course, I have never been in on any kick starters at all; re, I need more miniatures the way Custer needed more Indians.

I have a few from college, but I didn't go to college until I was almost 30 so it's kind of a different relationship. Two I can think of off hand are Dr. Pfundstein, my undergraduate Latin professor. He also writes fantasy novels under a pen name and we used to sit around after class talking about sci fi and fantasy tropes and how a bunch of that stuff is rooted in classical literature. Good guy, we still stay in touch. I also really liked my graduate advisor and Applied Economic Theory professor Dr. Sohngen. Since leaving college I've co-authored a paper with him. I think he was a little salty when I decided that after getting my Masters I no longer wanted to pursue academia. But regardless, we've kept the lines of communication open just in case there is a chance to work together in the future. Very intelligent man and one of the leading economists researching the impact of changing climate on things like forestry and agriculture.

Cthulhu: Death May Die by CMON. But only because I kind of wanted that toddler sized Cthulhu statue (I don't know that anything that big qualifies as a miniature).

Bones 1 and 2, though in my defense I didn't know the first existed, and for Bones 2 my wife had been in hospice. I suppose I could create a temporal corridor so that I could go back and get them, but who has the time for that?

Siege of the Citadel 2....I really love the Warzone/Mutant Chronicles setting. Even though it still hasn't fulfilled yet, I don't think it will be available at retail either.

The Chaos Wars one where they rereleased the Troglodytes. I had to back out of that one and haven't been able to buy them at retail yet.

Not really. A few I wished I could have backed at the time, but nothing I regret missing out on.

My 5th grade teacher Ms. Harris. She was very sweet and I think somehow she knew I was having issues at home because she always took extra time to work with me. She gave me a shirt one time which I thought was super cool at the time but looking back there was probably a whole host of reasons why. I ate lunch with her a lot and on Fridays she'd do this thing where people who got enough stars...or something on some chart would get to have pizza with her. She was a cool lady. I've never been able to get back in touch with her.

While I did not know it was a thing at the time Bones I would have been nice. I started painting like 2 months before KS 2 came out. There's lots of cool stuff in it that I really like that I still do not own or will now never own.

More that there were kickstarters I wish I could have gone in on more than I did. There are a bunch of 3D printable minis and scenery kickstarters that I've passed on that someday I might regret, but as I don't yet have a 3D printer... *shrug

Tbh, not really. I've put in pledges, but then I've pulled pledges & those were for events I didn't have control over or I did so I didn't have chaos come up. I've played Zombicide with the celebs/KS exclusives (which btw I hate the idea of) & it's fun, but do you really need em, not really.

I guess if I had to pick one, maybe the resin Starfinder miniature one, but that was was a disaster so in a way I'm glad I didn't back it. One I was part of, but didn't success was a World War 2: Hitler is a vampire 5e setting I really wish would have went through, but alas maybe this year.

I'm sure there are, but can't think of any big ones that I truly regret. I haven't backed a KS in 7-8 years. Drakerys? Did that ever get fulfilled? When I know it's not in the budget to back I abandon following it to resist the spending temptation.

Oh, maybe the CMON A Song of Ice and Fire one. Or Zombicide: Black Plague. Those probably would have been fun to have all the extras.

No, not really.  There are a lot more that I backed and was sorry about later...

I went in heavy on Zombicide Black Plague. It's a fun game, and I love it, but to be honest all the extras I got (and I didn't get all of them ) are a little overwhelming. There is one of the extra sets that has a miniature called Black Currant (I think) that I'd like to have just because he's a very gothed up fantasy style knight with a buzzard and a claymore, but honestly I haven't even come close to painting up the minis that came with the one I have. I also went in heavy on the Hellboy board game, and it's still in the packaging it shipped in. I just have not had time to mess with it.

Black plague is a lot of fun to play once you figure out all the rules.

Not that I can think of, which means I don't really regret it.  I'm sure if I went all over kickstarter I could find some things that were worth backing, some of which wouldn't even be hobby related.

Drakerys fulfilled, but it went straight into my closet. It is so buried that I'd forgotten about it.

Yes...kinda...maybe. There are a few I wish I'd gotten on board for, but my recent move and subsequent unpacking has really helped to illustrate that I have many, many 20's of miniatures.

I mean, I regret not having all of the burrows and badgers figures, but the money just wasn’t there. I don’t really dwell on it though.

The rules: as they were last month (in addition to all regular forum rules) except where I sneakily changed them:

      1. Every day, or so (unless I am out or ill or something) I will post a question. †
1.5. Should I be unable to post a question for the day, a crack team of deputy quisitors, former quisitors, and random forum members are all chomping at the bit to step in and post one... ††
      2. In theory there is a 24 hour span to answer that question before the next question is posted.
2.5. (Rule 2 is the most frequently ignored rule.)
      3. Questions are going to be posted sometime before 1 AM Reaper time (US Central).
      4. Everyone is encouraged to suggest future questions to be posted via PM to Talespinner or Morihalda…
      5. You do not have to answer every question to play...
      6. If a question is TMI or N/A simply wait for the next question.. ..or post that you decline to answer (clues regarding why can be fun...unless TMI).
      7. Weekend questions may take the form of two or three day quests, starting on Friday or Saturday.
      8. Pix always welcome.

The first question will need to be posted after a brief (10 minute) pause to foil the merging of posts.
The footnotes, because I can't resist doing †††footnotes:

      † I will aim for 0600 Reaper/Nottingham time.
††  If subs and backstops could wait until 11AM in Reaper/Denton's timezone to see if I remember.
      ††† …because I re-remembered how to do the dagger ( † ) symbol.
