Monday, March 1: Mori dons her Robes of Quisitorial...ness! What are your "Monday Best" clothes? If you work from home now, have they changed at all?

My daily work wear (all days of the week) consists of 1 pair blue jeans (Levis 505), 1 t-shirt (with either a Navy or hobby related graphic; RCon shirts have been the theme for the last month or so) and a pullover hoodie if it's cold.

Day I woek from home are similar, except I will occasionally just were pajama pants instead of the blue jeans.

Golf shirt. No Logo.

Or Maybe I mean Polo Shirt. There is a difference. I looked it up one time. But I have forgotten what the difference was. Because I am not a fashionista.

Might have been something to do with the pocket.

With Sunday & Monday nights being non load nights at work,  I tend to wear just a t-shirt & jeans,  along with athletic shoes when I go to work.  Those nights being both short nights for me.

Long pants* of some form, and a t-shirt. If I have to be visible to the general public for some reason, it's cargo pants and a t-shirt.

Pockets are no longer optional. ;p

*definition of pants is very loose here; pajama pants are not uncommon; usually with pockets.

Tuesday, March 2: It’s National Read Across America Day! Did you read much as a kid? Do you read much now?

I used to read prolifically as a child, books were my only friend. Nowadays I still collect books, but I have more interests in my life so I don't have time to read them.

Yes, I wear a hoodie in -30C weather.  I'm usually wearing at least one liner inside said hoodie though!

I hate snowsuit weather. It has to be darn cold and windy for it to be snowsuit weather. I always feel like if I fall over in the snowsuit the best I can hope for is the fire department to come and put me upright again. "Oh look, cute adult snow angels!" No, that's me flailing around, trying to get up again. I did get this really neat hood from the secondhand store and I look like a mittened monk. Fun fact: the furry patch on the back of the mittens is really a built-in snot rag. No, really, that's what it's designed for.

Yes.

Not as much as I once did.
Not entirely happy about this.

Oh yes, very much so on both accounts. As a kid, I seldom got toys when we went out. I got a book instead. When I was little, I dropped my Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer book behind the booth at a restaurant. I flipped out. The poor waitress tried heroically to rescue it, but she couldn't get it. It was still there years later. Not to brag, but I can't remember not being able to read. I get upset if I don't get a book for Christmas. It's been said before that I have a "security book". I can't leave the house without one or I feel naked. For Canada's 150 I tried to read 100 books in a year. I think I managed about 25, but I didn't count the hundred times I read "Mouse About the House" with the kids.

Yup. So much so that at least one librarian approached my mother to ask her if I should really be taking all those books if I wasn't going to read them. As I do not remember this incident, I had only my mom's word on it.

She thought it was funny, natch.

I don't have as much time. But I've been known to binge. A book will grab my attention, and then a weekend will go by and I will have finished it, probably three more and be looking around going, 'huhn?'.

Dune was about two days worth, mostly because I kept getting interrupted.

Surprising no one, the invention of e-books, which allows me to carry half a library around in my hand-computer, AKA my SMRTphone, has been... dangerous.

I used to read allot as a kid (novels). Now, not so much. I'd rather read game books/adventures vs reading a novel these days.

As a kid, almost ^^ this.

As a kid, There were times I had one friend that was not a book.

But books are friends that last. The only friends that I still have, from when I was a kid, are all books.

I used to read a LOT back in the day.  Nowadays, I don't do it all that much, probably because I no longer have a nice, comfy chair to do such in...

Not as a kid.

I could read from a very early age, but not because I wanted to, so it took me until my teens to get into reading for enjoyment.

I still do a bit of reading nowadays after taking it up again a few years ago (I got burnt out on terrible, trashy fantasy books), but nowhere near as much as I did.
