Didn't read much until I hit 6th grade, then read voraciously until... really a couple years ago when I started working on my CPA. Haven't gotten back into it, which makes me sad.

Take heart, you'll get to re-read all of the classics with the Hamsterling though: The Pokey Little Puppy, Green Eggs and Ham, etc. And you'll get to do voices without talking to yourself! I envy you.

I read a lot as a youngster, had a book with me constantly up into my 20's, and it's slowly faded out. I used to read a lot during the winter but the last 4-5 years the books have piled up. I don' think I've read anything in the past 365 days, and I would have thought lockdown to have been the perfect time to catch up but I always find something else to do.

Yes I read as a child.  I read more now though.  I will have a hard time in the near future because my over 4,000 books are packed away.  I had a big stack on my to read pile but that pile is dwindling quickly.  I will have to go into the utility room and pick out some more books.

Monday, March 1: Mori dons her Robes of Quisitorial...ness! What are your "Monday Best" clothes? If you work from home now, have they changed at all?

Monday is effectively my Saturday, seeing as I work Saturdays but not Mondays.

Generally, a plaid button-up shirt and preferably khaki cargo shorts, if at possible.

But seeing as it's winter and I live in the Midwest, it's really not possible.

So, blue jeans.

I read a fair amount as a kid, but not a whole lot. Nowadays I read quite a bit.

As a kid, yes. Now yes but not the fun kind, a lot of reading manuals and emails and other boring garbage.

I usually wear jeans and a button up shirt tucked in with my work boots. Sometimes I"ll wear a sweater or nicer pull over in place of the button up and cargo or khaki pants.

I used to read all the time. It got so bad that my parents limited my trips to the library to once per week (the library was a trip in to town so not just popping down the block). As recently as a few years ago I was reading about 3-5 books per week. These days I read much slower. I wear many more hats, and I'm just generally more tired all the time. I can't stay up 'til 3 am reading and then be at work at 7 with no real foul.  These days if I read it's how to get a SQL query working that's freaking out or how old bull calves need to be before you band them. You know, the light reading stuff. My backlog of books is getting deeper and deeper. I'm currently trying to work my way through The Malazan Book of the Fallen and The Expanse.

I should try Erikson again, I think I made it 5 or 6 books in. There were a couple long slogs in the last one (literally) that kind of dragged me out of it. I bought all of them in HC, so they're right there waiting!

I was an avid reader as a child and as a teen. Now it's mostly audio books while painting or mowing

Wednesday, March 3: If you listen to music, what song do you think you’ve listened to the most in the last few months?

The greatest show, from the soundtrack for the greatest showman. It’s my daughter's favorite movie -_-

That catchy background music you hear when a certain commercial comes on, but it's gone by the time you realize that it was playing.

That will be a tie between these two.

The rules: as they were last month (in addition to all regular forum rules) except where I sneakily changed them:

      1. Every day, or so (unless I am out or ill or something) I will post a question. †
1.5. Should I be unable to post a question for the day, a crack team of deputy quisitors, former quisitors, and random forum members are all chomping at the bit to step in and post one... ††
      2. In theory there is a 24 hour span to answer that question before the next question is posted.
2.5. (Rule 2 is the most frequently ignored rule.)
      3. Questions are going to be posted sometime before 1 AM Reaper time (US Central).
      4. Everyone is encouraged to suggest future questions to be posted via PM to Talespinner or Morihalda…
      5. You do not have to answer every question to play...
      6. If a question is TMI or N/A simply wait for the next question.. ..or post that you decline to answer (clues regarding why can be fun...unless TMI).
      7. Weekend questions may take the form of two or three day quests, starting on Friday or Saturday.
      8. Pix always welcome.

The first question will need to be posted after a brief (10 minute) pause to foil the merging of posts.
The footnotes, because I can't resist doing †††footnotes:

      † I will aim for 0600 Reaper/Nottingham time.
††  If subs and backstops could wait until 11AM in Reaper/Denton's timezone to see if I remember.
      ††† …because I re-remembered how to do the dagger ( † ) symbol.
