This might interest some people, as I'm sure most will recognize these angry ladies.

Story

Here we are! In another crazy project!

Yes, this time the project is really peculiar!

In our family we have 4 nieces and of course they are super in love with princesses, and various fairy tales, that they make us read or see on repeat!

At a certain point we asked ourselves what would happen if the princesses weren't so sweet and cute anymore, but they would get angry and go crazy?

And here is the result!

In addition we discovered that the classic fairy tales, the original ones, are anything but cheerful, they are dark and disturbing!

Another good reason for our girls to go crazy!

I suspect that this will last only as long as it takes for a certain mouse themed company to hear of it and type up the C&D letter.

Yeah, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, in particular, are too similar to that company’s IP.

Like someone should have with Kimba the white lion:) Honestly, these are all characters from old tales, unless they could show undeniably that it is THEIR take on the figures, it would be hard. Now if it were toy story, that would be different. Plus, this is more along the lines of satire, so it may fall under that:)

The dresses in particular are recognizable as the dresses from the movies. While the other dresses have similarities to their Disney counterparts, they aren’t instantly recognizable AS a Disney Princess. Which is dangerous territory to be stepping in.

Lessee...

* If it involves lawyers, the creator's going to back down. Sure, they may have a legal leg to stand on, but lawyers cost money, and it's not worth fighting the mouse. You might claim parody (and I'm sure you could find something like this on DeviantArt that hasn't been taken down), but even CMON has dropped Zombicide celebrity figures, which may or may not be parody, when they received legal action.

* They're 3D printed files. If the creator has already made the files, then backers can receive them as soon as the project ends. If not, sure, litigation could happen, although I'd be reluctant to back a KS 3D printing project that doesn't have the base pledge rewards ready.

* A certain 3D file site has a certain IP of a certain mouse that certainly isn't parody that's dated 2013.

My focus lately has been trying to find kickstarters/patreons I either:

1) Like enough to pledge

2) Like enough to not only pledge but have the rights to resell if they offer a reasonable price.

Unfortunately this project has neither. I do not like it enough to pledge (In my wife's words "it's too creepy), and I just do not think it would have enough appeal for resale, especially at the commercial tier cost. I got rapunzel from stl sampler creator, that's good enough for me haha.

After some thought, I've decided to back this one. I also ended up going in for a buck on their Patreon, just to get Hansel & Gretel as well.

I barely received my last campaign pledge from Midlam that already it has something that caught my interest.

Sisters of the Kraken Cult. The female counterparts of the previous "Onslaught of the Cult of the Kraken Lord" and "Cultists of the Kraken Lord". (I now have some regret of not getting it)

What's also interesting is the optional add-on of fish folk.

Brinewind is going to have some interesting neighbors.

Only 48 hours to go.  I just found out it was even a thing the other day (and promptly forgot about it).

I've not decided if I'm in or not, but I thought some of you might be interested.

Been watching the previews for this on Bold's Instagram,  Some crazy cute models, this time sculpted by  Ismael Nieto.  I'm particularly fond of Bisa and Tori, the winners of the dino race, and the BatPacker is too cute.  Resin cast and STL like their last several releases.  I've picked up their STLs before and been very happy, Planning to try to swing for at least one in resin this time, though shipping from Sweden hurts.
