Moderator LordDave Posted March 11, 2021 Moderator Share Posted March 11, 2021 A few game sessions ago, my home gaming group started a new D&D campaign. This is sort of in anticipation of all the awesome Bones V stuff that will be here this late spring/early summer. I wanted to make sure that when that glorious ship hits my table, theres a group of players dying to come aboard. Here are a few shots from our game. I will post a few every couple of weeks after this so folks can follow along if they like. This is the player characters. 2 water genasi, 2 aquatic elves. And the docks where they met. Here are some of the bad guys And lastly, a few areas they have seen on their maiden voyage. The last pic is of some elevation stands I made to help with the 3d aspect of underwater fight scenes. 19
haldir
All very nice pieces. I really wish I could field a table like this for my weekly group, alas I'm a slow painter & happy just to find the right minis for the adventure. Love the ex-Pathfinder AP pirate girl. Love that skintone! 3

Love that skintone! You can. Just start basic. Make 1 or 2 reusable pieces at first. Simple things like a road running through grasslands... or a river bank. Places that you will get a lot of reuse out of. Then each month, make 1 more piece. Soon your collection will be great

Moderator LordDave Posted March 14, 2021 Author Moderator Share Posted March 14, 2021 So todays game session was a lot of fun. Here are some action shots. First up, an at sea brief encounter Later the party found a shipwreck, holding the next clue of their quest. They had a small fight to get to it though Just as they were finding the clue, the bad guys showed up (represented by the the boat on flight stands as they were on the surface) And lastly the party hitched a ride up river with a tortle crewed ship pulled by 2 giant sea turtles.

Moderator LordDave Posted April 3, 2021 Author Moderator Share Posted April 3, 2021 Oh boy do I ever have a shocker for my players in tomorrows session!! I made the canopy and the figurehead removable and magnetised in case they want to take the ship and make it a little less evil. Lol. (Also for game play) 10
Moderator LordDave Posted April 4, 2021 Author Moderator Share Posted April 4, 2021 Last nights game session was a blast. They ended up capturing the barge and then using it to tow their keelboat.

Oddly enough the big fight scene with the barge loaded with undead went fast. The later weak bullywugs attack, which should have been nothing for the PCs was almost deadly for the heros 1 minute ago, Chaoswolf said: Sounds like it was a lot of fun! It really was, so much so that we played from 4pm to after midnight. The players now have this big barge to travel around on. They are debating whether or not to change the figurehead. Good thing I magnetised that.
