"I have no serious injuries but need a short rest to recover my breath. Having a dredger latch on to me was not an enjoyable experience."

Gustav will rest for 10 minutes and use a resolve point to restore his stamina points.

There isn't much time for allot of resting, but you do get in a breather. You see in the distance, there are approaching Swarm. Luckily for the party, you aren't spot, but you know the things are everywhere in the city right now.

Right now thou, your safe but for how long it's only a matter of time.

(note: It's just the party, there are no civilians in the area)

Someone, please give me a Culture check.

On the other hand, if there is one thing a mouse is good at, it's finding boltholes and escape routes

17+3 perception to find a protected spot out of site

"Friends, over here! We can rest and prepare while we figure out our next move!"

With a 2 I am an uncultured mouse!

Anyone else can make the check. I should have been more clear with my request. It's a general, all audience request. ^_^

The rapid action now done with, Vitharyan, his mind still reeling at the day's events, scanned the debris cloud streaming out of Brinnoa, concrete, dust, ash.  There was disjointed sound of combat, the crack of reaction cannons, the hiss and snap of laser fire, but behind it all was a constant, low-grade humming, like cicada's on a summer's night, the Swarm, ever present, gnawing, feeding, advancing ever closer.

Vith nodded, "Roger that," he spoke into his comm, he backed away from the combat zone, found a civilian vehicle that had been abandoned in a snarl of jammed traffic, set his cannon on the roof, pointed it towards Brinnoa and kept watch while his squad, took a rest.  He did a quick inspection, bruised, tired, but his armor had held ... mostly.  Something wet slowly seeped down his thigh, the dredger's maw hadn't breached his armor, but it had compacted it around his left leg, he grimaced, took a few deep breaths, he'd get the Doc to look at it once they reached Gallant.

He brought up the HUD on his visor, checked their orientation, and the distance to Gallant, trying to judge how long it would take them to get to the Fort, and the best route to take.

Out of Character Actions

Vith will also take a Short Rest expending a Resolve to regain his Stamina, if that is permitted.

I'll make a Survival (Navigation check) to determine the best route between Brinnoa & Fort Gallant, and the distance we will need to travel.  I will receive a +4 circumstance bonus from my Navigation kit, and a +1 untyped bonus from my Survey Map of the region.

Survival=(1d20)+12=(12)+12=24

Alright between the good Culture checks & Vith's navigation, you determine that Fort Gallant is roughly 24 miles to the west of your current location.

As the party finishes up resting/healing up, you feel the aproach of a swarm patrol nearby. They don't see the party due to the dust storm still in effect & move along. There appears to be anther in the area as well.

It is not safe here anymore.

Vitharyan nodded at Doc, "Vexxer tried to take my leg off," he grunted, "armor held though."  He smiled grimly, "I got 24 miles to walk it off though eh?"  He sighted through the wreckage at the swarm patrols, "We need to move though, and quickly."  He turned to his squad, "We good Midnight?  We got about 8 hours to Gallant, reload, and let's move.  Slow and low."

OOC:  Thinking we set Maus' drone as rear guard, and try to get clear of the Swarm patrols, if we can get ahead of them without drawing their attention, we can double time it to Gallant.  Though if we spot any SDF, or civilians along the way, I'd like to bring them with us.  Thoughts?

Sounds like a good plan to me. If you are into HP, I will treat you with a med patch, saving my last 2 spells for the rest of the day. I also glance into a couple of wrecked military vehicles, hoping for a Med pack. Any Luck?

Ratticus, says "I will set Pip to move along about 20-30 meters behind us watching for anything that might be following or sneaking up on us.  It wont be much good in a fight but at least it can alert us of trouble"

He gives the droid its instructions and sends it on its way.  (17+8= 25 for stealth, 12 for perception)

      Hi people.
Im going to start another PBP.  So far I have interest from @ShadowRaven, @dwarvenranger, @Dilvish the Deliverer, and @Kangaroorex.

We’re going to start the Serpent’s Skull adventure path.  Pathfinder 1e.

All books are in play, but I reserve the right to veto something if it seems too gross/bloated.

Please utilize the Serpent’s Skull Players Guide from the Paizo website.

Abilities: 4d6, reroll all 1’s, drop lowest score, yielding ranges from 2-18 pre mods.

      Avg. Starting gold.

We’ll follow the AP leveling track when possible.

      We’ll have individual initiative.

I hope to get this started soon, so please post those characters.

      -edits-
      House Rules
      1. HP beyond first level.  Roll the hit die.  If the roll is less than”avg” then take avg instead.  Example: Wizard d6.  Rolls a 1.  Gets 4hp instead, before Con mod.
      2. Acrobatics can be used to avoid AOO when standing from prone.
      3. If someone is not responding and action is waiting for them, I’ll send a pm after 24 hours.  If no response 24 hours later, I’ll take over that character to get action rolling again.

You can decide if you know each other before the start of the adventure, or are all randomly passing through this small rural town on your way to or from Korvosa.
You have heard rumor that a carnival passes through this town, and have come to investigate and have some fun.
As you mill about the carnival grounds, you can sample delicious food from vendors, view exotic sights or shows, and participate in games of skill and chance.

Let me know what types of things you are interested in, and if/how you know each other.

      Hi everyone.
In light of additional free time, I'd like to start another PBP.
Maybe I'll be able to get prior ones going again, if people are interested.
We'll be doing Murder's Mark.  A Pathfinder Module for four 1st level characters.

      From www.paizo.com
An urban mystery adventure for 1st-level characters.
Everyone in the fishing town of Ilsurian is excited when the legendary Umbra Carnival rolls into town—even if the show is run by members of the much-maligned Varisian ethnic group. With strange and exotic beasts, scandalous performances, games of chance, and all the other fun of a traveling fair, who could resist such an opportunity for entertainment?
Unfortunately for both the town and the circus, however, entertainment isn’t the only opportunity the carnival presents.

Core Rulebook, Advanced Player's Guide, Advanced Race Guide are OK.

      Character Generation:
Attributes: 4d6, reroll all 1's, drop lowest die.  This will yield attribute rolls of 6-18.
      Average Starting Gold for class.
Alignments: LG, NG, CG, LN, TN.

The hope would be that once we finish this one, we'll be able to start another with the same characters...

I painted this dude up as my technomancer for our Starfinder campaign. The idea is his coat is very tech-ey. I used a Bones Chronoscope miniature and modded in some antenna. Also slightly purple skin, cause this is a Lashunta.
