Yep, as the title of the thread says, we want to know when Bones 6 is happening! :)

They said on a previous ReaperLive that it was going to be some time in 2022.  If past experience is an indicator, and the fact that they're doing a BaseBoss in October this year, I'd expect it to launch no earlier than September 2022, that way they can focus on ReaperCon and have that wrapped before they have to deal with managing the kickstarter (and also hype some preproduction resin prints at the con)

I have no idea about when Bones 6 launches, but I can definitely add a "me too!" to everyone who recommended checking out the "Bones 5.5" Pledge Manager reopening, for a chance to get the Dungeon Dwellers boxed set.  That really is a great little set, and it's still a decent bargain compared to what you'd pay retail (I believe it works out to less than US $2 per mini, for a collection of great bread-and-butter RPG minis that any gaming group would be able to find easy uses for!)  If you are new to collecting Bones figures, or know any beginners to role-playing games who might be on the lookout for a set of great beginner minis, Dungeon Dwellers is all killer, no filler.

Honorable mentions in the "Bones 5.5" Pledge Manager go to:

Spoiler

  • Core Set - loaded with great low-key "sleeper hit" figures, including adventurers, townsfolk, NPCs/villains, monsters, and even a little scatter terrain and spell effects.  Like the Dungeon Dwellers expansion, there's going to be a lot of bread-and-butter minis of the sort that have been produced in all the past Kickstarters, so not much in the way of surprises for veteran KS backers, but if you're new to the Kickstarters and new to collecting gaming minis, a Core Set is a great way to snag a lot of basic minis at a bargain price.
  • Henchmen and Hirelings - a handful of fantastic NPC character sculpts.  The apprentice wizard, scribe, tracker/guide, and poor sap with the ten-foot-pole are my favorites, but they're all great characters!
  • Townsfolk - Another great little low-key set of characters for RPG use, and for completing dioramas and the like.  Every Kickstarter (I think) has included a few townsfolk, but this has been the biggest set, with great variety and detail.
  • Paint Sets - these paint sets are a great way for beginners to fill out a limited palette, and are still a decent bargain with some great, useful colours even if you have a lot of paint already.
  • Some great minis from previous Kickstarters (Bones IV, I believe) have made a re-appearance, including (I think) a few that never appeared in Reaper's online store.  Great to see these again, and they might be a great opportunity to snag a couple classics you missed from earlier Kickstarters!

I've said the Dungeon Dwellers boxed set is a great intro or gift to anyone first getting into minis for their tabletop RPGs.  You have so many iconic low CR monsters and encounters in one kit, as well as several adventurers that could also double as Bandits/rivals/etc
