You definitely want a more comfortable sprue cutter, even if it's a little more expensive. I have an old Army Painter sprue cutter that's definitely not as good as this random one I picked up at a used game sale. 😄 Also, cut out only what you need, although you "need" to cut the entire core set, of course. 😄 BTW, You can prime on the sprue, so long as you know you'll be sanding off the mold lines later, and reprime sanded areas with brush-on primer. Save some sprue to make "sprue glue" with Tamiya glue, and to make rubble terrain!

Our D&L 3 finally arrived. First impressions are good. The minis look nice… but also look to be on the small side. I will have a better idea once I cut them from the sprue and put some together but so far they look like they are about the size of Perry 28mm figures.

I think the size is about right, but due to using real scale rather than heroic one the heads and hands seem rather small and frail compared to other companies minis.

Ok, so I finally got a chance to go through my order. Looks like everything is there.

I only got a Village pledge, but I feel like I'm going to be spending a long time on this. I know the scale is very much 28mm, but there's almost 200 minis there, not to mention a tonne of scenery bits. Plus the actual rooms themselves obviously. That's a lot of stuff to paint!
