baseball is fun to play, but the second least interesting thing to watch.

My favourite baseball Team are the Detroit Tigers for Major and the Arkansas Travellers for Minor. I'm not much of a fan, but I do enjoy an occasional game. 

 

No dice on convincing me to root for the Reds, though nothing but love for Reds fans. 

 

Wasn't Sidd associated with the Mets? Maybe?

 

So far I'm dealing with  Help Desk Tickets and talking to users.

When the Dodgers & Giants moved to the West Coast in '57, baseball lost all interest for my Grandpa, Great Uncles, Dad, & me.

Forty years later, I started watching the Braves on TBS. They became my team.

The Reds are are good team & Pete Rose deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, but the Braves will always be my team.

Atlanta Braves. They've been my favorite ever since I got to watch them play on TBS back in 81-82 over at my grandmother's house during summer vacation. I did like the Montreal Expos a little but I guess that was due to Braves broadcasts & they'd show a video board whenever a runner tried to steal & the pitcher threw it to the base, they'd get a chicken graphic pop up (weird way to like a team, but yah). I also have a slight liking for the Seattle Mariners, but only cause they are Northwest team & Portland doesn't have a MLB team. Portland does have minor league teams, one is the Portland Pickles, a wooden bat minor league (sorta out of college league). I also like the Eugene Emeralds (a minor league) & the Richmond Flying Squirrels, but of course that one is due to the mascot.

 

April 1st: I get my covid19 vaccine shot today at 1130 am!!!

Sportsball of any sort isn’t my thing. Watching it is just boring for me. When I was younger playing it’s various forms could be enjoyable, but now I’d rather not risk any injuries. I’ll gladly support any of my friends who are passionate about their teams though. 
 

So: YAY SPORTSBALL! GO TEAMS!! DO THE THING!!!

The Cleveland Indians.  Next year it will still be the Cleveland Indians.  The Reds are known for having a player that has been lifetime banned from Baseball that thinks he should be in the Hall of Fame.  I think that he should have the ban extended to forever with no possibility of parole.  Thoramel you have bad taste in Baseball teams

Sorry but the Red Sox are just ahead of the Reds in the running for the worst team in baseball.  Only the Yankees beat them out.  The reason is the trade the two had for a pitcher that started the decline in baseball. Reds traded Babe Ruth to the Yankees that started the Money Ball era in Baseball.

Base...ball.......that's the one with rich guys standing around in a big field for a couple of hours while one guy plays catch with another guy, and someone tries to stop them with a stick?

Not really my thing.  I much prefer to watch rich guys in really fast cars follow each other around twisty tracks, or rich guys on insanely fast motorcycles do the same thing (Zarco hit 362.4 km/h (that's 225.1 mph) last weekend on the front straight at Losail).
Thoramel might try getting Ferrari or Ducati to buy the Reds....that might help.....
I'm afraid I have no idea who Sidd is or was. What did he drive?

 

April 1st, work.  But the wife and I are going out to a painting thing at the FLGS tonight. WizKids have these paint night kits, so we're painting Red Slaads tonight.

Astrooooos! Though I don't really pay much attention nowadays, I have fond memories growing up of staying at my uncle's house on Saturday nights, church in the morning, and baseball in the afternoon. My mom-in-law is a hardcore Astros/any Houston sports team fan, though. She's a super cool lady, so any time she invites me, I'll always be there to support her excitement!

 

Nothing much today. Chores. Stretches. Thinking about playing either Stardew Valley video game or board game tonight.

Sorry, I don't really do sportsbrawl. If there's food involved, I'll probably turn up to watch, but be bored out of my gourd.

I've been studiously avoiding poorly thought out pranks, releasing the chickens (and other chores, because adulting is heck) and generally trying to decide if it's worth it to go out for groceries today.

1. Boston Red Sox. However, it should be noted that I generally find baseball to be utterly boring to watch, so I don't (Actually being at a game is different, it's easier to 'get into it' when you're watching live) It can be fun to play, but it'd been a looong time since I played.
