Lidless Eye Hobbies: Pokechop the Porkgre and Friend (RBJ Game Company)

I'd been in a little bit of a painting slump since we had to put our older dog to sleep.  I'd been going from project to project and painting here and there but nothing came close to being finished but terrain.  Miniatures themselves had too many details.

The recent arrival of RBJ Game Company's "Yippers & Squealers" Kickstarter helped.

First up is Pokechop the Porkgre, quite a massive beastie.

Wyllow the Witch ws another mini from the Kickstarter.

very  sorry to hear about your Dog,

I also find Terrain soothing when painting just doesn't click.

Really like the Witch, i tried to get that skin tone recently and just couldn't pull it off

Thank you.  He was my little painting gremlin, he was always there by either paint station.  The WFH really made him feel like he was just...everpresent.  The other dog favors other family members.

I had wanted to go with the traditional/cartoony style for the Witch.  Her skin is Reaper's "Moldy Skin" with Army Painter's "Green Tone" over it.  That Moldy Skin is super useful.

To celebrate the ongoing Reaper Miniatures: Bones 6 Kickstarter, I decided to paint nothing but Bones while it runs.

Here are the current results (though there's a lot more that got a few colors and were set aside)

      The Greater Basilisk:

      Cockatrices:

      The Plague Twins:

      Patchwork Golems:

      'Folk Wizards:

      Feral Vampire:

      KOBZAR SOLOVEIKO, NIGHTINGALE BARD

      Shroomie

I've just finished with the first batch from the new Kingpin of Dunkeldorf Kickstarter.

They're very fun miniatures, nice details and an Oldhammer feel.

"And it's a curious feature of Giants that they rise from their graves."

These minis came from a variety of sources, and were re-scaled to try to match Reaper Frost Giants.  All were printed on an Elegoo Mars.

The Draugr Jotunn is from "DrunkenDwarfMinis"

The Giant Skeleton is from "Crippled God Foundry"

The last is a Hill Giant Zombie from "RMPrintable"

Rare for me, a one miniature thread.

It seemed to be appropriate for the season to paint him up.  I missed Krampusnacht by a bit, oh well.

Here's a collection of spooky terrain I painted over October.

All of them are from the Shadowfey set from Printable Scenery and printed on an Ender-3.
