We had a name the infantry game contest at Mil-Net last year, but nothing beat out AICOM. Not that there weren't some good suggestions, but the best ones were already copyrighted.

Something that people may not realize is that lots of companies (and not just gaming ones) copyright names that they like years before they even start to design a game. Warlord is a great example; Reaper's owned the name since the 80's IIRC. When AEG went to publish their Warlord CCG, they found this out and had to change the name to Warlord: Saga of the Storm.

Actually, AEG had to get our permission to use Warlord in the title at all, which Reaper gave. No Messy residuals. We like gaming, and promote it happily. We saw then and see now no conflct with our Warlord game and their Warlord game.

Just a clarification.

Is there an official release statement on AICOm or any information posted where we can read about this new game and line of figures? Just wondering as I have seen people mention the game and figures but haven't seen any links to the actual game. I have seen a couple of the figures in the "new greens" section, but that's all.

Thanks...

Cool mini's either way, I hope they make some more and just start marketing them as modern/future minis.
