No clue, hadn't heard about that shortage. Possibly a cause. I imagine it's also that Tre outsources his casting to Valiant (which is based in Wisconsin), so they had to fit his order into their own production queue, plus any shipping delays to him. He mentioned a second caster, so that business probably has the same problems. I happen to have a pound of lead-free pewter ingots... wonder if anyone wants to buy them. Or barter. ManvsMini
The latest from the FB page, posted sometime yesterday: Well the Store is now officially closed. Orders are still being processed but we are making significant progress. There are a few items which are still on order having not been delivered in our previous orders but these items are very few so they are not holding up many of the of the orders. Whatever orders can be fulfilled are being fulfilled and the missing items are on order and should be in hand very soon. I do VERY much appreciate everyone's patience with me in getting this process finished and for making the store's closure sale such a resounding success. it has been a bittersweet process to put it mildly. After 13 yrs in business ( August 5th of 2008 to present ) and creating HUNDREDS of figures fulfilling some 6073 orders through the store and probably 2000 or 3000 more through kickstarter, interacting with so many people many of whom have been long time supporters, enthusiasts, and even friends I am truly humbled and immensely gratified to have had the great honour and pleasure to populate the theatre of so many imaginations with my creations. It is impossible to articulate and absolutely unforgettable. Thank you all so much. Tre' I just visited the store site, which while still there, has the majority of pages/links removed. You can still log into your account to see the status of your order. Thanks for the memories, Tre. ManvsMini
Came back in from walking the dogs and low and behold there was my package on the dining room table. I hadn't been expecting it as I didn't receive a shipping confirmation, so to anyone still awaiting their order, Tre may not be sending out notifications when they are shipped. Keep an eye on your mailbox, pleasant surprises may await you! Everything came accurately and in a padded envelope that also had some thick blister foam sandwiching everything inside.

SotF
Or the vikings...those are what I kept looking at, mainly at some of the threads on LAF with people who had them.
ksbsnowowl
Got the bulk of my shipment today. Three mini’s weren’t in there (2 models; 2 of one and 1 of another), but were noted on the packing slip that they’d be sent once they arrive in house. There was a tracking number on the package, but I got no notification of the package having been shipped. It was just a nice surprise in my mailbox today. The mini’s look great. I need to get some metal painting under my belt before I attempt to tackle any of these now-irreplaceable sculpts. 😁
SGHawkins09
Tre opened the shop back up with some things that he had extras of. He is still waiting on the last shipment from one of the casters.

ksbsnowowl
Not happy. The three mini’s he didn’t include in my initial shipment apparently won’t be sent. He just issued me a refund via PayPal.
Nunae
I received my miniatures, but there was no bill or shipping manifest inside. I'll make sure I got the right ones through the website I guess. Has anyone here worked with decals for the Dwarven shields before? I've got a lot of those and no ambition to spend hours with each. The humans I got look fine next to the Bones V Townsfolk I painted, even a bit bigger than I expected, but the Dwarves are really tiny. My bf plays an Artificier Dwarf in my new campaign, and he chose a Kharadron Overlord from GW as his miniature. That guys torso is basically as big as a whole RBG Dwarf. We'll probably play it as is "iron man" suit just being ginormous around his more slender frame. I got an American candy in a clear wrapper that was really delicious, maybe someone here can help me identify it. No label, red bonbon/hard candy, tasted like cinnamon (?) and it was actually kinda spicy, less sweet.

If there was no label it could be a store brand and about impossible to narrow down to a specific manufacturer.
Nunae
Nope, more flat, like a few coins stacked on each other. But yeah, I figured it might not be super common.

You can tell if each graphic is separate from the backing paper or if it's a continuous sheet. Either way it's all pretty much the same. Continuous you'll need to trim really close to the graphic to remove most of the carrier film. Items you'll need: Water (I like distilled) & a shallow dish/bowl tweezers (for holding the decal) paper towel (to place the decal after soaking, so it can release from the backing paper) Micro-set & sol (made by Microscale, there are other brands out there but these are the "jell-o & Kleenex" of type. These are used to help the decal either stick to the surface better (Set) or conform to the surface if it's rough, like say studded leather armor (Sol)) old paintbrush (for the Set & Sol & to work the decal onto the surface) Optional: Mug warmer (decals work better with warm water) Pre-decal work: Make sure your surface your applying the decal to is glossy, not matte. Putting a decal onto a matte surface will cause something called slivering, the edges (generally, the clear carrier) will show, also good chance the decal does stick very well either. Decal work: If the sheet has a brand logo or wording, test this out to get a feel for the decals on the sheet, it'll be the same as graphics. Cut the decal out that you want to apply. Again, trim as close to the graphic as close as possible. Using tweezers, dip the decal into the water, you can just let it float on the surface or depending on the decal, dunk it. Give it about 30 secs or so. Remove decal, place on paper towel, bloat dry. Sometimes the decal will start to move from the backing paper as soon as it hits the paper. This is a good sign it's ready to go. Brush Microset (btw this bottle has a blue label) onto surface. Using tweezers pick up decal, I like taking either my fingernail tip or a toothpick to slightly move the decal off the backing paper. Slide it onto the surface. Apply more decal set over decal. Using the tweezers or a toothpick, move the decal into position. When satified, press down with paper towel or a brush. If the surface is irregular, apply MicroSol now. Important: If you apply MicroSOL, leave the decal alone as this will cause the decal to get soft & it'll easily tear. The Sol will make the decal conform over whatever surface it's on in a few hours. Let the decal dry, overnight before touching. Wait at least 24 hrs before applying clearcoat of choice. Enjoy.
