Good work!

You know you started an arms race though, right? The vampires are gonna start spending some time (and they've got a fair bit of that) finding a way to counter this thing.::D:

Thank you!

The Undead might have some big stuff to do just that.

Some examples of stuff to come in the future.

Thank you I really appreciate it!

Currently working on a smaller piece. Hope to be able to show it soon.

I really like Your art direction

Thanks !

Glad you like what you see here, although I wonder if I really have a style.

I tend to build and paint different things, most of the time the somewhat evil/dark minis.

What I see in Your work is very individual use of color and volume. It takes a brave approach to do Your own thing in a world of paintjob copycats 🙂

Thank you for that!

It might help that I do not play the games, I just paint and create armies for fun, make up my own stories and army composition.

So I do not feel "bound" by the official colourschemes and such.

Unbelievably rad and incredibly detailed! Fantastic job setting the scene with minis from all sources. Enter this scene into competitions.

Between the vampires and the hunters, the mad scientists are just going to be raking in the cash!

Oh I'm certain there is profit to be made for the Mad Scientists, Tinkerers and what about the Priests? Selling those holy books, barrels of Holy Water and crucifixes.

One of Bob Ridolfi's sweet little undead monsters from earlier this summer.  I tried some grey skin tones to give her a "definitely not human" look, with the contrasting pale yellow funeral dress.  It's all right, and there's nothing you need to be concerned about here....

More of my backlog from summer.  Vermina has a ton of detail, but it's hard to do grimy steampunk and make it all show up.  I wanted to show her feminine and playful side so I started by making her clothing pink.   She has rats around her feet and on her shoulder.  I used this figure in a Shadowrun game as a street shaman.

Always a few spots you missed that show up on camera afterward.

Another Ebay find! The base is foamboard, sand, and Vallejo Mud & Grass paint with some Citadel Stirland Battlemire. The model was a ton of fun to paint.

Presenting Alfredo "The Dandy" Francini, a low level mobster with a love of brightly coloured clothes, he's part of the Scylla faction from the now defunct (I think) game Wolsung by Micro Arts Studio.

This guy has been sitting in my 'to be painted' pile for far too long, so I worked on him for the last couple of weeks in between other projects.

As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

One of my favorite Fantasy races are the Undead, followed by Chaos and Reptilians.
I already have my Lost World Project which tells a tale of Conquistadores, Reptilians, Dinosaurs, and a lot more. And has some Undead in Jungle and or Pirate style in it.
My Shifting Sands project is all about Undead, Arabian and Egyptian style Undead.

This thread will be filled with my beloved Gothic Undead, Demons, Monsters and all things that go bump in the night.
In my Lost World Project I tell an ongoing story, here I will post about all other dark things without coherency.
There might be snippets of loose stories to accompany a mini or not...

I hope you guys and gals and creatures will like it.

Let's kick off with the critters I painted a while ago to get a feel of what is coming.

      Enjoy! ( or not)

Bats and a Murder of Crows

EDIT: I will include some Bones and minis. The bulk will be metal and I want to give the project an oldschool vibe/.
Preferred minis will be, Reaper, Grenadier, Ral Partha, Rafm, Metal Magic, Otherworld and Early Citadel.
The Asian Undead will be from Zenith since I backed the Kensei Undead Samurai KS and will get their own thread.  ( Nippon, Land of the Rising Moon) and the Egyptian ones are in Shifting Sands Project)

EDIT: Since the 3D printing bug bit me, the bulk will probably become 3d printed now.

EDIT - Asked to merge my Undead Threads into one.
      Now CHILDREN of the NIGHT.

This is for all the Ghotic Undead and their friends like Werewolves/Witches/Demons etc etc..

      Eldessa Necromancer

      Ral Partha Female Vampire

      Lurien and Aysa

      Bat Demon
