I assume it did, it was up when I woke up at noon. The eclipse was supposed to be tiny minor and mostly over by sunrise so I didn't stay up to catch it. 6

Not a clue. I woke up way after sunrise, so for all I know it decided to just be a jerk and shine in through the one spot in my curtains that formed overnight... And I was all go away sunshine, this is my domain of darkness! 1

So, I was awake and checked the eclipse info. This should have been at about the max for my area, but, as you can see, the sun was still below the local horizon… 7
Werkrobotwerk
June 11 There are going to be large birds right outside your door and you have to choose which kind, turkeys or geese. Which do you choose and why?

In either case, if these birds are wise, they should just move along. 6

Which do you choose and why? There's an awful lot of package theft in my neighborhood. And you know what would prevent a porch pirate from stealing your stuff? An angry goose (i.e. a normal goose) nesting right next to where the delivery guy tosses your package. Granted, the poor delivery guy is going to have to come up with a way of getting packages to the door without being attacked, but I assume they can throw stuff up there and run, while the thief will have to come all the way onto the porch. Now, you're probably thinking, "but Thoramel, how are you going to retrieve your packages without getting attacked by a goose?" Well, I have an 18 pound mutt who delights in chasing geese. So I'm good. 4 1

Which do you choose and why? Either; both are tasty. As for the "Did the Sun Rise?" question: technically it did not. It stayed in the same spot in relation to earth as it always does. We did however successfully complete another daily planetary rotation. 4 2

Anything but those devil spawn geese we have up here anyway: Edited June 11, 2021 by Jasper_the_2nd 2 1
Dilvish the Deliverer
I'll eat either. Though eldest is allergic to turkey, so goose would be good for the whole family. 7
