I have an alarm set for 1230pm on weekdays. On weekends I often sleep in until 1pm or even 130pm 6

I get up at least 2 hours later than my week day time. It really depends on how late I stayed up the night before (I'm a natural night owl, but force myself to to be in bed by 11pm on work nights). On the weekends/vacation, that goes out the window. 6

I'm retired what is this work week you talk of? Actually I wake up earlier on Saturday and Sunday than on Wednesday. I stay out late Tuesday for gaming so I sleep in. 7 hours ago, malefactus said: Yes. When you are retired AND old, every day is pretty much the same. Remembering what day of the week it is can sometimes be a challenge. That is what the pill caddy is for when you get old. You are not there yet. 5 1

Yup, just about any of the Battletech "Unseen" original mechs. Loved the Shadowhawk, have at least 2 of them but they are still packed up from the move. Found one! Inspired by Dickens, we tried Christmas goose once; as far as I can tell, geese have so much fat that they are practically self frying. 23 hours ago, Werkrobotwerk said: June 12 Do you wake up at the same time on weekends as you do during the work week? Yes. I can shift my sleep schedule, but it usually takes about a week, so a weekend isn’t time to adjust. 51 minutes ago, Werkrobotwerk said: June 13, Is there an out of date mini that you particularly enjoy? have you got pictures? Too many pictures. By most people’s standards, most of my minis are out of date. Probably more than half of my fantasy collection is from before 1985, and I’m actively acquiring vintage minis for reinforcements. I’ll post this little group of Minifigs Mythical Earth figures from ~1974, though, as a sample. The Minifigs MEs were my earliest fantasy figures. I’ve got a handful in my collection that are original to me; these guys are all recent acquisitions. 9

Hmm, I don't know if there are any specific OOP models that I enjoy, or even any current models that I have preference over others. But like @Corsair's example, if I'm to play BTech, it's nice to have the correct representation of your mech. 9

Yes, many of them. The old Grenadier boxed set 'Orcs of the Severed Hand' is pretty near and dear to me as it's the first set of miniatures I ever got. Yes, I still have them. 9

I have a few lying about, some of them are even painted! but.. they are minis, and I like them as much as my more recent acquisitions. This may change, of course; I just haven't stumbled over anything that triggered the *chirp!* yet. 7

I was kind of leaving it vague to give room for people to interpret how they want. But I had been thinking somewhere along the lines of "out of print", or from a dead game, or has been directly replaced by a newer sculpt. I had been thinking about it because I had been painting an old syntha mini from void. And while it's a bit dated looking I still like it.
alchemist
Well, there are lots of OOP minis that I am very fond of, but if I had to single out just one I think it would be the catoblepas from Ral Partha's AD&D series: 13

A particular one doesn't necessarily come to mind, although I could playfully say Dragons Don't Share 2.... What I really want to get is that Dream Pod 9 Kodiak, but wowee those are expensive, and I want one with a VHAC (Very Heavy Autocannon) instead of the particle cannon... I honestly can't think of a mini that I have that I'm particularly fond of yet is out of production, since I haven't really collected all that many older ones... 3 hours ago, Corsair said: Yup, just about any of the Battletech "Unseen" original mechs.
