I'm always game for a certain pink floppy "sword" from Saints Row 3.  Always fun to go on a murder spree with that.

well it didn't start out as a joke, exactly. 

In a campaign where the world was threatened by the far realm the PCs quested for a weapon to fight them.

The Sword of Normality:  +2 far realm Bane.  with medium/low intelligence and only empathic communication. 

- it could also detect far realm creatures withnin 60'  - it would alert the wielder by making them suddenly acutely aware of natural background sounds. 

it looked like the cheapest possible weapon, a slightly mishaped bar of iron with barely one edge and a point. 

it also allowed the user its skills +10 Profession: farmer and +10 Profession innkeeper. 

 

The weapons chief goal was to hang out in a peaceful small town.   killing FR stuff was just its boring job. 

the low-int paladin took it up and thought it was his god sending him positive vibes about farms and inns. 

 

after a climatic battle that left a 100'd smoking crater with the PCs huddled in an antimagic shell at the bottom.

he retired to open an inn that grew its own vegies.

As today is the 80th. anniversary of Operation "Barbarossa", perhaps a Panzer Mk.IV would be appropriate?

You can never go wrong with the classic Singing Sword.

 

 

Fun fact: Pezler does carry around the Rubber Chicken O' Death, a magical artifact of his own making that has enough death magics to choke a dragon, if need be.

A long time ago, my character found a rapier that seem to pierce his enemies way too easily. Turns out it was a theater prop sword that sprung back into the hilt on each hit.

 

Here are some new creations:

• The Weapon of Howie Wilhelm: when this weapon successfully hits a foe, it emits the sound of the target being mortally wounded. It gives a free intimidation check against surrounding enemies. It is *not* a quiet weapon.
• The Mace of Lou: This spikey mace has tufts of fur, which become wet on use. When a target is hit, it is sprayed with a foul liquid that causes the target to become nauseous/sickened from the scent unless washed off. [OK, so it's weaponized toilet brush]
• The Skinflint Bow: Any arrow shot from this bow leaves a permanent trace of it's trajectory only visible to the wielder (or those who can see magical auras), until willed away. Used for target practice training, retracing steps, or tracking. Originally crafted by someone who did not like losing arrows.

Well.. the Hand-Cranked Runcible Gun comes to mind, although I haven't actually had an opportunity to drop it in a dungeon as yet.

 

The most lethal thing usually lying around a dungeon is probably the ambulatory jello.

I wish that I know exactly how to make a safe proper wish that will give me exactly what I want without any bad side effects.

Then I'll make my next wish accordingly and keep the third one in reserve.

A bow with a broken drawstring would be a great disappointment, if you know what I mean. So long as you don't let them restring it.

Well, not a weapon, but I managed to acquire The Duster of Sam Elliot, in a recent Rifts game. It added toughness I think, but the cool part is that if you’re male, you suddenly desire to grow a large, fine mustache. If you’re female, you only find fellows with large, fine mustaches attractive (assuming you’re attracted to males in the first place). Naturally, I stated tell all the males I came across that they would look better with a large, fine mustache 😆
