Their answer was something along the lines of “we support the gaming manufacturing community. A lot of great companies are making sculpted bases, and doing it great. They are cool people and friends and we don’t want to dip our toes into their pond.” I saw them give that answer a couple years ago (may have even been to you) and I had to respect that answer. I love the straight sides of the RPG bases and the fact that they can be flipped over to put integral bases in. I'd love other sizes and shapes of them, but other than the 20mm circular, I have nothing specific in mind. A 25mm by 50mm rectangular one for cavalry and long skinny beasts would nice, now that I think about it.

SotF
With the various rank and flank systems, it might also be nice to have some of the other bases around again. Something like the 20mmx100mm and 25mmx125mm rank bases could be useful. I'd still love movement trays for 25mm square and round bases

Marc
Honestly, the only way I personally will be interested in this is if they offer interesting sculpted bases. I’ve read in this thread that Reaper is reluctant to do these, since many other companies already do really nice sculpted resin bases, which makes sense. But if this new KS is just various plain bases in different sizes and shapes, it won’t be for me. Speaking of that, has an actual date been announced for this, or is this all more in the conjecture and spitballing phase right now? I keep looking for ones at a decent price in the US that are plastic. Renedra does some for Oathmark that they sell on their own and in boxes, but those are not that easy to get in the US for a decent price due to shipping costs being kind of nuts there. They can also work for display purposes with some slots filled in. Some of the larger ones could be interesting, perhaps something close to the old customizable ones that GW used to make which were awesome.
AlonTey
I'd be interested in seeing some beveled 20mm bases and, this one is a bit more of a stretch, 1-3" round bases with spaces to slot the oval integrated bases Reaper has been using lately into.

Are SKU 74041 not meeting your 20mm beveled base needs? The idea of round bases to slot the oval bases in is fantastic. Only hiccup is that the oval bases aren’t uniform in size.
rubegon
On that subject, why does Reaper make Bones with integral oval bases smaller than 1” round? Why not just make the bases 1” round instead?
Adrift
Reaper’s version of the micro arts studio plastic bases where the base is the terrain; ancient temple stone floor, woodlands, rocky grasslands, rocky terrain, pile of skulls, etc.

Somehow despite going through like 40 of them I remembered them as not having the bevel. Well then. How about those same bases but included in a real steep, say, kickstarter'y discount. So many halflings to base. So. Many. 1

ksbsnowowl
Spitballing. The KS campaign itself was originally supposed to happen in late 2020 (Decemberish), but with 2020, delays and whatnot it just keeps getting pushed back. No firm date has ever been stated.
