The Kingpin of Dunkeldorf

Hi everyone, I wanted to share that we have just launched the third Dunkeldorf Kickstarter! Our last Kickstarter was focusing on "The Prancing Peacock" more or less a full tavern setting.

Our new Kickstarter still focuses on the town of Dunkeldorf, but this time it's all about a Brewer "Sven Wentzel" who's also the leader of a ruthless gang of thugs. There's also more focus on the mutants that dwell in the sewers beneath the town. Finally, the third "Faction" for this campaign is Witch Hunters and their Hired Swords who are en route towards Dunkeldorf to root out the mutants they've heard continued rumours about.

The Kickstarter can be found here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kinggames/the-kingpin-of-dunkeldorf - With our last 2 campaigns we unlocked a lot of Stretch Goals and included a bunch of extra free miniatures, accessories and pets and we hope to achieve the same this time! 🙂

You might want to consider the possibility there might be new backers, i.e. it might be idea to re-include the scale shot from the first campaign.

I love the miniature from last kickstarter. But, the theme of this one doesn't interest me. From the miniature I was only interested by the kingpin and the cocky crossbow woman. Thought I do like the actual warhammer (heroic scale). So it is sadly a pass on this kickstarter.

Hi everyone! Sorry it has taken me a while to write. Thanks to all of you who are backing! 💗

Arkady, we do have a "Scale Reference" section and also refer to the previous Kickstarters where there's a lot more scale reference pictures. So hopefully it shouldn't be too difficult to find 🙂

DragonWyrm, thanks for backing the last one and the theme is definitely different this time! Maybe another time 🙂

I have just made a picture with an overview of the free unlocks. When we unlock the next miniature (Which is just around the corner), this is how it will look like!

Thanks again!

Anyone have any idea what material the minis are made of (plastic, resin, metal)?

I searched the KS and couldn’t find any mention of what they are made of (which seems kind of odd)

About The Miniatures

With the exception of two planned Stretch Goal miniatures, all of the miniatures from this campaign are digitally sculpted. They are printed in the highest quality available to us and are then cast in White Metal. The Scenery Add-ons are cast in resin. "

I'm wondering if Martha is one of the non-metals

I'm really looking forward to her.  I'm always looking for monstresses that are...monstrous!

Thanks! Guess I didn’t scroll down far enough …

All the best to them, but man I wish they would make the leap into good quality plastic minis

Backed this! Been wanting to back the previous two campaigns, but wasn't able to at the time. So I'm happy I'm able to now! Lots of Dunkeldorf stuff I want! Most of all regular townsfolk personalities + terrain and objects 😄

Also fun to see that it's a Danish company, which I wasn't aware of before now! Makes me extra happy, being a fellow Scandinavian! 😄❤️

A small but creative series of Garden Gnome miniatures by sculptor Tom Mason. Search for his name in the Reaper figure finder and you'll see some of his other work.

      The Gnome Guard

“The Gnome Guard” expands on the world of “The Adventures of Little Knife and Kronan” & ”The Goblin Menace” by introducing the stalwart guards of the garden.

One of the world’s most timeless lawn decorations can now come to life on your tabletop. Whether you need comparably adorable force to face off against other pint-sized foes, or you’re just obsessed with garden gnomes, these miniatures will make a great addition to any collection.

I have a few preview gnomes on my painting workbench. They are great! Small, simple, metal, easy to paint, but full of personality. [/unsolicited review]

Another “large collection of miniatures” kickstarters, reminiscent of the recent Blacklist Games Fantasy kickstarters.

I am tempted, even though it covers a lot of things we already have.

Right on the heels of their last shipped campaign, Midlam Miniatures is back. After several years of halflings, the gnomes are back!
