Outstanding. Especially when you consider the size. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, she's a pretty small figure, 25 mm when 25 mm actually meant something.

She's beautiful, great job on her! I also really like the base you made, it's helps to set the scene without being distracting. :winkthumbs:

I am a little concerned about the sorcery you must be involved in being able to paint that tiny little face so nicely, though.

Thank you Chaoswolf!  It was my reserve base, I had another one completely planned out and ready to go.  This one is just some green stuff flattened out on a base and then I painted it out with different blues, surf aqua, and so forth.  The other base was so much nicer, it was kind of a little piece of land overlooking a "lake", but when I put her on it, it was too uneven and wouldn't work.  I'm going to keep it though and maybe I'll be able to use it with another figure.

@chaoswolf - here is the original base I was going to use. 28519839-4A79-4486-B11C-136C4F9818F0.jpeg.b5bac01c8582f0e4270f1126832d8d23.jpeg

but she was just not level enough to add her to the base without having to do lots more work on the base.  Ultimately I’m a lazy person so I just created a new and simple base.

      Hello all you Reapertoniks!

Here's a few more Partha classics, three more elves sculpted by Tom Meier in around 1976-1977, a musician that belongs I think to a command group, the commander with that command group, and a female elf that I think came separately?

Used the same color schemes I had for my earlier elves, hope you enjoy!

      Hello Reapervites!
So here are three more Wood Elf figures, been working on a group of these and getting them finished little by little.

With them all, want them to be kind of the same but a little bit of variety, so tried to vary clothing colors and hair colors, but keeping it all in natural and autumn colors, browns, greens and oranges/yellows.  So anyhoos, here are three more:

Tried to some freehand that would tie in on the shield and banner.  My freehand is sometimes not the greatest, but oh well, give me something to want to learn better!

      So enjoy!

      Hello all you Reaperlodytes!

Continuing the work on some old school goodness, more Ral Partha elves from 1976 I think:

These are all wood elves, and I've got some more coming, so I'm trying to get them painted in browns, yellows, oranges and greens.

      These are their two spearmen.

Just like the Elven Princess, back in the pre-history of miniatures.  Super straight forward, a little awkward, amazing to compare these to Tom Meier's more recent figures!

      Good evening Reaperologists!

So tonight taking a journey back to the past in the late seventies when Ral Partha was in its infancy, here is a Ral Partha Elven Princess, sculpted by Tom Meier.  A simple miniature from a simple time, it shows how far miniature sculpting has come over the years with an early Meier sculpt. Take this one an compare it to his more contemporary works, from Dark Sword Miniatures for example:

      More oldies coming soon!

Greetings to those of the Clan Reaper!

I think this has got to be one of the quirkiest figures I've painted, a Chickinasaurus sculpted by Tom Meier from his Sparkle and Savage range, from Theoland!

I was a bit confused as to what colors to make him, so thinking about chickens, I tried to imitate a nice brown chicken with a green tail, hopefully he turned out okay:

a really nice and simple figure to actually paint!
