nadinbrzezinski
I got the new minis today. What can I say that Tsusikei looks great, so does the Lance... and the Knight and the Warlord are just gorgeous. Oh and those sprues are a wonderful thing... SOldcorn
I just look forward to all the "recent" releases being available in the UK, afterall it would be nice to get our hands on the JOR etc etc. Stuart Oldcorn
nadinbrzezinski
Well after talking to my retailer in Hawaii as far as he knows none of the new releases are out. Yeap, scratch one more for the distributors! Joy! Nadin
Black Lightning 2
Oh and those sprues are a wonderful thing... That's the second time I heard gloss about these sprews... What's so good about them, compared to the way arms used to be packaged? Is it a painting issue or something?
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted November 7, 2002 Moderator Share Posted November 7, 2002 My best guess is that it eliminates the occasional missing or duplicated arm.

John Bear Ross
I saw a few of the new builds at a local game shop... The Knight came out beautifully. Lance too. Tsuiseki, also. Good clean-up on those figs, guys! Best, John Bear Ross
Chrome
Frosch is correct, the sprues ensure that when you open your blister, that you've got a left and a right arm, not two lefts or only one arm. The Lance's sprue holds both treads and the cannon.
nadinbrzezinski
Amd it does it well. BTW you also get some "free" terrain modelling pieces if you are so inclined. Nadin
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted November 8, 2002 Moderator Share Posted November 8, 2002 What do you mean there, Nadin? I didn't see anything like that in the blister pack when I looked at the FLGS.
ladystorm
the extra metal that connects the arms, etc, is there to use as terrain. perhaps cbs
nadinbrzezinski
When you have your pieces of left over metal you can put them on the base as if they were part of a destroyed building, such as a beam. It worsk best with the "tree trunks" from the Knight and the Warlord, though the Tsusikei can also be used that way. Scratch it on way too many conversions.
