I decided because I have a bunch of grass boards, that I should do some backdrops for nice dioramas and maybe just regular photos. So I primed (mostly matte medium which I have liters of and a little primer and a tiny bit of craft paint for volume) some of my many cereal boxes.

Should I do anything more than sky and land/horizon? Tree silhouettes maybe? Got any good examples

A simple fade from dark at the edges to light in the middle of the focus looks nice.  Be careful of getting too detailed or contrasting with backdrops as cameras may try to focus on the background details.

Not sure how to look for them, but I have several backdrops I've painted and posted on the forum.  Most are fairly neutral in color (dirty gold, one is dark and cloudy, another is forest colors...).

Maybe try themes, rather than actual images--blue and white for a snow background, tan and brown for a desert background, etc.

I have build two myself.

When I take pics I usually use some black foam boards for the open spaces.

I know @malefactus has some as well with awesome shrooms and forest themes.

The jungle one might be closer. My kid was watching a cartoon yesterday that had a simple background. I can always prime over it.

Incidentally can anyone tell me of the floating bar is current web design or a firefox issue. Since it appeared  I accidentally move away and lose messages 1/4 of the time. Really bad placement next to the keyboard not mobile friendly. It's a design trend I hate.
