QUESTION July 14th.

What's your favorite perfume/after shave/lotion?

Old Spice. I like it for the scent, the memories it evokes, AND for its slogan: "If your Grandfather hadn't worn it, you wouldn't exist".

I generally go for florals in a perfume. For special occasions I have a large bottle of Escada Agua del Sol, which smells of flowers and morning air at the beach, light and fresh and cool.

On a guy, the smell of soap is always good.   I like Grey Flannel, too.

I'm actually perplexed that so many use aftershave as a general cologne.  I use it for, well, helping the skin recover after shaving...

My favourite aftershave is similarly priced to colognes though o_O  (Castle Forbes isn't cheap, but boy do I love how it shaves)

I don’t use perfume. It makes me sneeze. For lotions and soap I tend to go with simple scents. I really like the way “original” scent ivory soap smells.

Right now I have a CBD pain relief lotion that smells like peppermint that I really like.

I have a blood orange scented perfume I picked up in Oregon years ago. Sadly, I can't really use anything scented anymore because they give me migraines.

Question July 15th.

Booze, Soda, Juices, do you stick with one brand/kind or not?

If so, which is your preferred brand/kind?

It varies depending on what we're talking about.

Alcohol tends to vary.  If it's beer, Labatt Blue or Innis & Gunn Original tend to be favourites, same with Alley Kat's Main Squeeze (Grapefruit Ale), ApriKat (apricot wheat Ale), and Scona Gold (a Kolsch).  If it's cider, I think I've only ever had Strong ow, it wasn't bad and I'd definitely drink it again.

If it's a cooler, I used to rather like Vex's Vex On The Beach (although haven't had one for a decade), or Smirnoff Black Ice (red cap - once again, haven't had one for a decade).  B52's and Kahlua coolers are pretty good too.

If it's hard liquor, the one brand that would jump to mind is indeed JagerMeister (apologies for misspelling, phone's keyboard isn't set up to do the dots over the a), but it absolutely MUST be served properly.  Warm or on ice is NOT the correct way!  I also tend to enjoy vodka on occasion, usually 42 Below from New Zealand, or I think it was Liquid Ice from the US.  Memory isn't working too well for me for such things ever since the collapse at work.  I tend to have my shots as either highballs, or preferably as a longdrink, with 7-Up.

Oh yeah, Bol's has a nice vodka too, last I remember, but I'm curious what the domestic stuff tastes like - apparently it isn't the sugary sweet vodka we get out here.

My favourite mixed drink is probably the porn star.  There's just something about blue Curaçao, red sourpuss, and 7-Up in the same drink...

As for pop, it varies.  I used to rather like Jones's Soda, but gawds it's gotten pricy, and hard to find.  Lately it's been Grizzly Paw or Phillips Soda when I want a treat, and Dr. Pepper for when I want something tasty in a can.

For cola?  Coca-Cola for me..

My favorite kind of soda is root beer, and my favorite root beer is A&W (if you can find one, their restaurants are pretty good too). My favorite cool, non-fizzy beverage is lemonade, and I prefer the Simply brand.

I don’t care for booze, I only use it in my cooking, so I have no preferences there.

Booze: no brand loyalty at all. I try different beers. This happens so rarely that they quit making them. Then I try others.

Soda: I quit them.

Juice: nearly always buy a brand called: “Welches”

I gave up The Booze quite a long time ago. I rarely have soda, but an occasional Teddy's Root Beer or Cream soda is nice. I am a Spicy V-8 fan.

Haven't had booze in several years due to medication, but I liked Warsteiner and Löwenbräu beers if I could find them at stores.

Soda, uh, I'm a Coke fan. Wasn't always, used to drink anything non-diet (and once was soda-free for years), but it's the nurses fault. After I woke up from my first surgery in the recovery ward (barely had my eyes open), they pressed a can of cold Coke into my hand and told me to drink. It tasted like being alive, which is a very, very good taste. Can't kick the habit now.

Not really a juice drinker, I have to draw the line somewhere on the sugar intake... though, thanks to @Kuroneko's Scottish slang/language lessons, knowing that soda is called fizzy juice kind of makes me a juice drinker?
