The fourth of July is just another Sunday to us Canadians.... As for special plans? Nothing really comes to mind, but there is a bit of a plan to take over the world... Errr, I mean work more on getting my desk fully sorted out, although some aspects are on hold for a few days because I accidentally sliced up my dominant hand pretty bad. So instead I'll get up to mischief like tearing apart this nail file dust collector thingy so I can get rid of the fake chrome top and make it purple instead. A nice vivid, non reflective purple. Oh, and some work on this guy too, who I've already gone and mostly eliminated the gaps and seam lines on... ... And what he's about to meet once I've sealed the mini... Those Pokémon Plastic kits (aka PokePla), but especially the Quick! line can have some rather huge gaps. Mine had some fairly decently sized ones, but my before pics didn't turn out because I took the pic at the angle that effectively hides them all. Multiple layers of plastic glue, and a good amount of sanding to get him to where he is now. Got to look out for Molly and Dixie, once fireworks start going off Molly will bark and Dixie will get anxious and seek a safe place away from the noise (she climbs into the shower in the bathroom with no windows at the first sound of them). People aren't supposed to shoot fireworks off here in town, but they do it anyways. Today getting the house ready for our G'niece Emma's 13th Birthday Party. Our house is kind of Family Central now for gatherings, so that is really nice. Pizza, hotdogs, snacks, cake and ice cream. Then going to watch fireworks over the lake. I'll use our recent pet, Thumper. Well I don't know if you would called it food or even strange to us, but hey she ate em: rabbit poop!!! Apparently it's actually healthy & normal for rabbits. She also chewed on paper if it was around when she hopped about the house. Along with a slim power cable (similar to a old earbud cable). D&D game this morning, I didn't think it would happen due to one of my guys was sick (food poisoning, I think) so I had to run a impromptu adventure for the 2 players that did show. I bought a simple one off DMsGuild & used these dry erase 1 inch tokens for creatures, I got from a Kickstarter. Pretty good adventure, one I've actually been wanting to run anyways. Depending on my players we may even go in that direction. Tonight: Work, Night of the 4th, ahhh work. I'm going to run around and enjoy the wind in my old woman beard, because we have finally ended the mask laws in my village! I'm going to hang around home for most of the weekend, as my parents are out of town and my grandma sprained her ankle. I don't think we had Canada Day fireworks in the village because it's been way to dry and windy. I got my final covid shot today, so I might be pretty miserable. Probably going to stay home. Maybe barbeque something. Might camp out on the back porch.. roof... to see the show, provided it's visible above the treeline. Otherwise, not really worth it.
