WEEKEND QUESTION JULY 3rd en 4th.

Our US friends will have the 4th of July.

Any special plans?

Share your plans for this weekend, take pics from things you did and tell us about it.

Of course anyone outside the USA can also tell us about their weekend and show things.

Spent most of the day running about on the farm dealing with some nonsense going on there and the rest doing lawn work and catching up on some gardening chores. I'm expecting to be sore tomorrow so I'm probably going to spend the 4th resting around the house and maybe getting some painting done. Not much to show. But here's a picture of a low spot on the farm that's always flooded and would be too expensive to tile. Took some photos of it today while down there because I'm planning on restoring it to a native wet prairie if I can find the funding.

4th of July is just the weekend after Canada Day here.  That said, we had a nice turkey dinner yesterday, which had nothing to do with the holidays, but everything to do with us having a cool rainy weekend, and really liking turkey ::D:.

For excitement I spent a good hour last night trying to find the back half of a B1 (roger, roger) head that I dropped while assembling.  Gave up and stole one from a unit I have still to assemble, so now I'm trying to figure out if any of the B1 sets come with extra head backs before I get to that unit.  Since the piece is maybe 1-2 mm in all dimensions, it may be gone forever......
Today will be watching lots of car racing since there is F1 and Indycar, and I'm sure some NASCAR stuff too.

Question July 5th.

You're safe in a bubble nothing can harm you or see you.

This will last a few hours.

What Event/Animal/Person do you want to see?

This can be in any time or place.

The first thing that came to mind was to visit the bottom of the ocean and quietly see the wildlife.

As an added bonus, make it during the Cambrian explosion Period, long before the dinosaurs, but full of funky looking lifeforms.

It time allows it, I'll take a tour of R'lyeh during its heyday.

Given that nothing could harm me, I'd want a ringside seat for the Big Bang.

Hmm, interesting.  I can think of a lot of answers to that. Big Bang, as others have mentioned. The extinction event for the Dinos.  Lots of events through history.
But for fun, I'd want to go back to when "whatever" happened on Oak Island.  And then show up on the show as one of their regular "crackpot" experts with a theory, and give a ridiculous theory that then points them to finding whatever is there (assuming there is something to find, of course).

So yeah, I'm the type of person who would use time travel just to mess with people.....

Tough question. Do I pick something of personal significance, or do I go with something of a historical nature? Way too many possible choices.

Oh, this is easy. I’d find a nice quiet place and take a nap where my baby can’t find me. 😴

I'd want to see history, from the beginning... and spend an hour or two with some deceased relatives.

I think I would like to see the early Devonian lifeforms and observe them for a while.
