77752, Female Minotaur

Hello everyone, now that the event is over, here are some more pictures of my entry in the 17th Quarterly contest. A big thanks to everybody that voted for me. This is a 77752, Female Minotaur sculpted by Jason Wiebe. It was a fun model to work on and I challenged myself painting object source lighting (OSL) on it. I made the fire with pieces of popsicle stick and Liquitex heavy gel medium.

Impressive. I like the very strong contrast of the light. The Highlights on the metal are especially nice.

The only thing I would Change is the fire. It seems a little small.

Thanks for your comments everybody. I agree with you @Krassling, the flames are not very high. It was only my second try at creating flames with Liquitex heavy gel, it will certainly look better next time.

@chaosscorpion, I didn't do a WIP or tutorial on flames. I will try to remember and do one next time I play with fire. Thanks for your comment.

That colour scheme is amazing, the use of the OSL and the blues on the back are super well done. Creates an amazing atmosphere. I also can't stop staring at those fur highlights, so good! 😍
