It's been some time since I last posted here, but I recently got and painted this WizKid beholder! Comment, criticisms and advice will be gratefully received!

The mini in the background I am not quite ready to post as I have not based it properly yet!

Huh?

Lens? You mean there is a piece of plastic you put on the eye? What is its purpose? Does it make the eye look bigger?

Yes, it also makes a clear layer over the iris and pupil like in a real eye.

If you want a slight improvement with the lens, take a tiny bit of a high gloss polyeurethane varnish and give a thin layer over it (And a dab on the other eyes...it can also add to the mouth for the wet mouth look)

I did that with my beholder because of the lens' issues, and it works somewhat to make it look better, but it isn't quite perfect there.

This is Miguel Zavala's redesigned Umber Hulk, printed on my Mars Pro and painted with Vallejo acrylics.

It's a monster I haven't used much, if at all, in my own campaign, but my favourite character of old, Sir Fnord the Pretty Neat died of them twice, both times by having his head ripped clean off.

Hi! I was just wondering if there were any reaper dragon minis close in size to the young green wizkids dragon? or any other dragons of any types that's not wizkids that's similar in size? I'm wanting to run an encounter with two dragons of the same size and would prefer not to double up on minis, and would love to expand my dragon collection to other companies than wizkids.
