August 17: If you could change anything about yourself, would you?

Yes. Two near identical things in fact.

If so, what and why?

"Chronic health issues going away would be nice."  SparrowMarie had the best serious answer. So I'll just quote it.

August 18: Do you believe in having a "five-year plan"?

That said, I am also a firm believer in the saying, "Man plans, God laughs."  Hence my ever evolving and adjusting contingency plans.

I do enough that might amuse / annoy God that having a five year plan seems like a foolish thing to do.

I mostly live in hope that I am too tiny an ant to be noticed.

August 19:  Do you have any recurring dreams?

I have.

I have never seen a Tornado Funnel Cloud IRL, Only in videos.

But Tornado dreams have been a thing.

There are other themes as well, besides being much too close to funnel clouds.

Right now, I'd love to have a left index finger instead of a talon. I'm seeing the plastic surgeon on thursday, so hopefully she has good news. I'd love to be able to tan, instead of crisp. I'd like to try being a man for a change. I've always wanted to write my name in the snow.

Being able to build up enough pressure to fountain over the side of the sea kayak would be great. Female fighter pilots have to wear diapers, cause you can't just pull over. Guys have a pee bottle. I haven't figured out the kayaking solution yet.

If you do an image search for "female outdoor urinal" you might find something useful.  You could write your name with enough hip action.  Some even have bottle attachments. Or you could be like the lady in the white suit and do some reading...

I plan some things, but not five years at a time.

Clearly @TaleSpinner meant to post something this morning but real life must have thrown a curveball. This 20th/21st question will carry us halfway into the weekend.

I’ll try to find out what his weekend question mighta been and maybe post it Sunday.

Instead of graph paper! Just dots! I did not know this was a thing. This is the best idea in hand Dungeon Drawing since sliced Iron Rations! o.0

I got one today with my grocery order delivery.

Bought today: a glass butter dish. The kind that's supposed to hold a full pound of butter, but doesn't fit a pound of butter unless you smoosh it.

Seriously, what do designers have against full sized sticks of butter?

Not much opportunity to buy many things now that our FLGS is closed down. Art supplies store has opened here, will have to see what new things they may have brought in since they opened.

Well, I just purchased an 18” Madeline Hatter off eBay.

She’s from the Ever After High line of dolls from Mattel. She should be here next week. I plan on turning her into the giant from Jack the Giant Slayer. I’ve always felt they missed a wonderful opportunity with that.

Yes! Yesterday I checked out the city's best thrift shop, because I didn't want to be 3 hours early to my dinner appointment with my nieflings. They had a book called "How to Make Clay Characters". It leans strongly to the cutesy, but it's a book about sculpting. I'm so excited to buy some clay and make an anatomically incorrect foray into the beginnings of making my own minis. They will probably look terrible, but I promise myself to have patience with myself. I paid $1.05 for this book. It was Thrifty Thursday and I could pull a poker chip out of the bag for an additional discount, but I told them I was good for a buck five.
