Popular Post Restless
I wanted a nice, vanilla mammoth with no added flourishings or sun burn marks 🙂 The gore in his wounds were a bit too much for me to stomach so I just painted them like skin and ivory. They were wonderfully sculpted with intricate detail. I am sorry I cannot do them justice with my brush.

Evilhalfling
nice work.  I'm not a fan for the wounds either, I am planning on sculpting hair back over them, if I can. milliput should work well and be less rubbery then green stuff for a project like this, and I have sculpted hair & scales over patches before.  do you think covering over the the wounds would be a clean project or are there things jutting out of them?
charcon
How big is the mammoth compared to a regular human sized mini? can you share a pic please? Great job on the mini!!!!!!!!!!

But covering the back should be pretty straightforward. There is one long spike coming out of his right leg, but that's the only challenge I see to covering it with fur. I'm looking forward to seeing it! 2 hours ago, charcon said: How big is the mammoth compared to a regular human sized mini? can you share a pic please? Zloyduh
Looks awesome! I'll be very excited when I get to paint mine. I agree with the wounds/gore choice - I'll probably do some cover up sculpting with green stuff or something, don't know yet. Also, the PM for Bones 5 is open right now. I believe this bad boy is available there.
