One of the bugs that always bothered me about the old site was how my shopping cart was never persistent, i.e. when I put something in my shopping cart and left it there, my cart would be empty when I came back a day or more later. I so looked forward to the new site coming out! Finally, I'd be able to shop, add a few minis to my cart, and when I reached the fre shipping level, fire off an order. Well, this still doesn't seem to be the case. I added several minis to my cart yesterday, and today my cart is empty. Is this such a hard issue? Is it working as designed? Is it not the best way to function? To think of all the minis I would have bought had they but persisted in my shopping cart!

I believe that they "hold" items when you add it to your cart. Or so the emails I remember receiving saying something to that effect. So, I just started using the wish list thing. I actually have my orders for the next few months mapped out there. And you can add everything in the list to your cart with a single click.

Pretty sure it is a feature not a bug.  I seem to recall that the carts will get purged every so often 24-48 hours as measure to keep the inventory numbers straight.  I think the item is deducted from stock when it is placed in the cart to  prevent over selling items.  I prefer to have to put stuff in a cart rather than to place an order and get told that some of the items are now no longer available (has happened on other mini sites).  The wish list is where I put all the stuff I want, but am not ordering right now.

  I believe it's an inventory control thing because their system takes whatever has been placed in a cart and removes it from their inventory. I don't remember how long it stays in the cart, but if not purchased within that time limit it gets returned to inventory and a wish list gets added with all the items from your cart.

  All you have to do is go to your wish lists and add to cart when ready to purchase.

Someone on facebook called them Evil Croissants, and now that's all I can think of when I see them.

      I envisaged the prarie tick queen as a monstrous bloodsucker so I gave her a red bloated body. The markings on the body are meant to be blood vessels inside her but I think I made them too dark.
