I got two of the Dwarf King's Crypt Encounter sets in Bones 6, and I wanted to make King and Queen tombs out of the two tombs I have. This figure seemed ideal to carefully slice the front off of, and use to replace one of the current tomb-top carved male figures. Another mystery...I went to look for Sir Danel (the mounted figure) in the online store, and can't find him. Did he never make it into production, or is he just hard to find? Upon closer inspection of the figure I see he only has a stump on the arm holding the shield. No worries, I have a number of old Bones who can happily donate a hand. YronimosW Posted September 28, 2021 Share Posted September 28, 2021 Strange about Gwyddis - she's a perfectly fine miniature as-is, and the symmetry is nothing that couldn't be easily fixed with a hobby knife and a shield and maybe also a weapon swap from a hard-plastic wargame figure kit. Using her to dress up a queen bas-relief for the crypt is an inspired use - what a great idea! Speaking of the hard-plastic wargame miniatures kits, those are a GREAT source of spare hands and arms to fix that mounted knight with. I'll definitely want to squeeze a sprue or two of hard-plastic figure parts into the good-will box, along with some loose spare bits. 3 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He is outright missing his left hand (sort of, keep reading...) as you noticed, and his right hand is actually a left hand. I got at least 3 stockings that year because I was buying up reaper minis for my new campaign, and I got a few repeats. Come to think of it, I got about a half-dozen Bones Black orc shamans that way when I bought a bunch of paint a while back!
