Star Wars TMG

Hmm, I have found that they have done a very good jobs at the eyes. I almost believe some of them are actually waterslide transfers of some sort.

As far as the timeline campaign, that would be sweet. However if you were going to do the 'boarding action' scenario I would disallow vader (I have found that Vader can take out 100pts of rebel troops just by himself). ::(:

That brings me to the only down point I have seen in the game. With the starter you get a 17pt luke skywalker and a 55 pt darth vader. If you want to be a rebel player, you will need to buy a bunch of boosters to really even start whereas if you wanna be an imperial player, you are good right out of the box. Its not really that big of a deal though, cuz who would stop at only getting one box. ::D:

there is a poster that shows all the releases for the intial line, ranging from common stormie to a uncommon one to very rare boba fett & vader (there is also a rare version of Darth as well)

Overall the line looks ok, but since I'm not playin the rpg I probably won't buy any boosters, thou Boba does look pretty cool (he's in a sittin postion but with his backpack on (thus he anchored by the 'blast")

btw there is about 5 or 6 different looking s-troopers in the intial release + 1 or 2 uncommon ones (heavy trooper & officer type I think)

I really like the starwars game. The game goes faster and IMHO is more realistic than warhammer40k (what? my weapons dont have a range value? If they see it they can shoot it? SUWEEET!!!). The game will definately tide me over until AICOM comes out. ^_^

(oh btw Ewoks are common but so are the sandpeople!)

Of course Ewoks are common - Stormtroopers have to have targets other than Rebel soliders.

Anyway, yeah Vader out of the box is a huge plus for the Imperial, but there are enough Fringe for Rebels to catch up pretty quickly. Besides, Vader can be brought down - after all, he has no ranged attack, so you should get a few shots in before he gets to you. Just don't bunch up your troopers, so he can't do the Lightsaber sweep, and you should be able to bring him down eventually. :)

I have been very please with this so far as well. I bought the starter and six boosters so far and haven't gotten duplicates of anything more than common figures (Though I do have 4 ewoks so far. Ugh.) I've managed to get 36 of the 60 figures available, and three of my six boosters have had Ultra-Rares (Obi-Wan, Wampa and Rebel Speeder Bike), plus Chewie, Han, and Greedo. Looks like I'm well on my way to a Cantina diorama. ::D:

I haven't actually played the game yet, but with damage at the 10-point level (instead of 5 like D&D Minis) and no where near as much magic, it should play very quickly.

I picked some up; I got the very rare versions of Vader, Luke, and Liea (slave girl get up. Can you say "pandering"? I knew you could.) but I didn't get my favorite Star Wars character, Lando. So if any one has a Lando for trade, send me a PM.

I did pick up several Bothans, which is good, because I love killing me some Bothans.
