Okay, so I received my box last week.  The minis are good, but agree a bit small.  I think the delivery box is sharp and they were packed well.  Admittedly, most of the 2021 and 2022 KS's were delivered late, so I cant hold that against them too much.

Things that I like:
Details are sharp

Quality is good (durability is solid)

Cleanup is minimal

poses and variety is wide.

Great value for price per mini.

Things I don't like:

There's a weird peeling on a few of them.  I've never seen resin peel, so I'mt not sure what to make of it, but it's weird.

Scale is quite small on some of the normally big characters/monsters.

multi-piece minis need more cleaning and adjustment.

Here's the troll I painted from the set.

Could it be a dried up film of mold release agent, perhaps?

Nicely painted troll, btw! :D

@GuyraI wish I knew what it was.  The way it peels is strange because it looks like it's part of the model until it bubbles up and starts to peel. I fear more models have it, but I can't see it yet.  It would kill me to find out after I paint something that it will peel once I'm done. I hope that is not the case.

Man, that's super weird. Try and take pictures of it and ask the NLM people?

Great paint job on the troll.  Great use of greens and darker colors for the shadows.

You may find there are also 3d printing artifacts on some of them.

That's weird, I haven't seen that on any of mine.

Dig the troll though.

@JoeGKushnerI did a bit of cleaning on some of them.  The beholder has quite a few.  The ones that stick off are easy to spot and clean, but the ones that get me are the lines you didn't catch before priming or the excess flash.

Overall these are good minis, but for continuity between other models, it's a little off.  I will enjoy the painting though.  I love how nice they take to primer.

I haven't received mine yet. It went out for shipping last week, and said to arrive today, but in a shock twist FedEx decided to offer it to my address last week, several days before the communicated date. Very fast, but I wasn't home to receive them, so now there is an extra wait!

These painted examples do still excite me! I felt like the best models in the Kickstarter were the non-human ones, and monsters tend to work well enough in different scales. Who's to say exactly how big a troll needs to be? A dragon can be a young dragon (though yes, it was not advertised as such), and a beholder can be a spectator, or what-have-you! I already have some minis in wildly varying scales, so I'm looking forward to seeing if they really are that unusable. Worst case scenario is they're good for back-up and testing out paint schemes, maybe.

I know i'm super late to the party, but i just got mine

I don't think the scale is quite as bad as everyone is making it out (other than the fact that all of the larges are actually mediums, except maybe the basalisk and ooze).

Orcus is the biggest disappointment.

My bigger complaint is the fit. The dragon and wolves i had to recarve the seams to get them to fit. I think they have the pressure too high and its deforming the molds, or they demolded too hot. None of my bottoms were flat either.

attached a picture of cerberus gaps on the seams. Dragon also has very noticable seams

I think the dragon body is in line with large dragons, maybe the wingspan is smaller than wizkids.

I was kind of surprised that they're offering singles again, as it seemed like they were suggesting it was a huge logistical hassle last time.

I didn't grab any this time. Just my pledge, but I'm fine with that too. I like the Fantasy Favorites options.

Seeing they are offering singles was what got me to jump in. I wasn’t willing to drop a ton on this, but I was absolutely willing to drop $35 for something like 25 minis, all ones that I really want!
