Halloween Thread! (Open)

Yeah, it's early, but I know Tiny Furniture takes awhile to get your mini's. Also, of course, some of us haven't even started painting their Halloween miniatures. So here's a reminder to start painting! Feel free to post your Halloween miniature pics, new and classic. 👻👻👻

 

These miniatures are Tiny Furniture's "Deadly Scarecrows" and "Halloween Pumpkins" on a Secret Weapon Miniatures "Field of Screams" base. The base is very good for Halloween diorama pictures, and the pumpkins great for Halloween basing accessories.

I painted this awhile ago, but here's Reaper's cathedral. I rarely use gesso, but gesso seems to be fine for a textured stone surface. I think the roof is Scorched Metal with a brown wash. Normally, you don't want the pooling effect of a brown wash on a flat surface, but, for the weathered cathedral roof, it works. The model's roof is supposed to be removable, but, after painting, the roof was difficult to remove. So, if you want to save time, don't bother painting the inside.
