It’s ironic that you say that about metal not being a priority because I was recently realizing how much more I like the plastic. This week I had to play with a Bones kenku and a metal miniature at two different game sessions. Using the Bones figure I never once was worried about the paint or the figure at the table. The metal one however, I felt like I constantly had to be on guard about protecting and making sure someone didn’t bend a sword, or break off an arm on accident.

I prefer plastic miniatures as game tokens over metal ones. They travel better and weigh less and are less prone to damage. And they are considerably easier to repair when they do get damaged than metal miniatures. But the miniatures I collect as collectables I prefer to be metal. The quality is better and the fact they are metal makes them seem more authentic as collectables.

I'm running 6 Adventurers League games, all part of a series, but they're not up yet.

The last official thing I'll be doing at the con (Sunday 3:00 to 7:00) is finally running the module I wrote 2 years ago (DDAL10-05). 😤

Oh, I was hoping for a Sunday afternoon game! I'll have to look in to it!

I'm fine tuning my schedule.

I cancelled several classes to make room for other activities. I'll be doing the Reaper factory tour and a few RPGs (including one with @ReaperWolf!)

I'm still eagerly awaiting the final event schedules (award ceremony, auction, hijinx, etc.)

Which tour you doing?

I'm doing the Friday 9am tour. Currently, it's the one with the most free slots in it.

Friday is also  going to be my busiest day (9am to 9pm). The tour, 2 classes, 1 evening game, and about 90 minutes of free time between all of them.

BLATANT SELF PROMOTION

My class is on the schedule! "Paint Your First Miniature" is Saturday at 1pm. This is the one for people who have never picked up a brush and want to see what all the fuss is about.

I've done the 9 to 9 schedule before & it was on Friday, no less. Solid classes that day, my brain was mush by the time I got to the 9pm class (which was monochrome with Derek Schubert). Not recommended (the schedule, classes were great thou!)

Same page where you purchase Reaper U class tickets. The left side menu has the Thursday to Sunday classes, and the bottom choice is the tour.

So you "purchase" a tour, which is free, like other classes, and you'll get your QR code/email confirmation.

Luckily, I'll end my day with the Pool of Radiance Redux D&D game. In which it seems that by registering for one of those games, I got registered for all of them?!
