I'm going to skip this one.

I did a bit of math, and to fill the resin vat on that one, up to half an inch will take about a Pint. Or half a pint if you're satisfied with a quarter inch depth in the vat.

Sure 'it'll all be used anyway, so what does it matter'?

(and the tank refill will keep it at a safe level throughout the print)

Except we don't start a print without 'enough' resin in the vat, so there will be slumps of unused resin, maybe 100ml or more.

The Vat refiller system?

How easy is it to clean out?

It would suck to print with clear, and suddely find out that the previous large print was in black...

For simple terrain it's just pure overkill.

For buildings and other structures it can make sense.

I'm going to wait and see what comes along as DLP printers because they seem to offer better detail.

i'm interested in the Jupiter, but will probably skip as well.

I only want a large plate resin printer because I'm no longer satisfied with FDM for large pieces and have no need for mass printing.  I'm still going to use my small plate for individual models.

I'm tempted.  But I currently have 3 printers sitting idle waiting for me to get around to printing again, so it seems unlikely that I should get one.  And if they are shipping early 22 it could be in the middle of me rehabbing from back surgery (maybe) so that doesn't seem useful either.

And yet, I'm tempted....

Interested, though my rate of printing has fallen off significantly this summer, probably going to ride out the screen and the two spares I have in the cabinet for my OG photon before I upgrade.  Hoping by then to see a few competing DLP printers and decide accordingly.

I think I'm really more interested in the Phrozen Sonic Mega 8k
