Popular Post Lord of the Dish Pit
Converted him to be the standard bearer for the upcoming spearmen unit. Being Bones, his right arm was easy to reposition for this. The banner is the Goggle Latin translation of "Wrath of the Great Pumpkin". I also had to cut down the rock base he came on in order to get him not to tower over the ranks. I probably should've used green stuff instead of Testors modelling putty when forming the staff, but it did provide a nice wide surface to glue the banner to.

Krassling
Great idea. How is the banner fixed to the Staff? You cut it on the Photos.

There's two thin strips of paper curled around the crosspiece and glued down. I also lined the front edge of the pole with glue and pressed the banner into it to try and prevent curling. 1

Some time ago I saw someone hardening the paper of his banner with white glue before painting. This may help prevent Curling.
