NaNoWriMo 2021... In October?

I am burnt out on painting so I've picked back up my story I started last year. So starting a couple of days ago I decided that since I'm busy with real life stuff I will write in my free time.

 

I've been make some headway going back and changing and adding things.

 

I'm excited for something different for a little while.

I broke out and started writing this month, with no planning whatsoever. Read a story collection that just kinda unlocked something in my brain, and I sat down and wrote this story I'd been mulling for literally ten years. I was pretty excited lol. Turned out a couple more things that sprang up from nowhere, and  think I'm about to get one more that'll run me into October.

 

Been trying to talk myself into doing something actually novel-y in November this year. Either start reworking the one I wrote 3/4 of and left sitting, or finally start The Big Project. But I'm feeling pretty iffy on it all, so.

 

Anyway, sorry, too much talking. Have fun!

It will probably spill over into November but hopefully by then it will be in a state I can leave it for a while and be happy.

I spent the last couple weeks going back and changing/adding things in. I have come to the point where I have to actually continue with new content. It is time to do more world building. I thought I had more written.

Did some prompt writing today to try and get back into the swing of things. I probably won't actually get started until a few days in. The whole world building thing and all that I haven't started yet.
