That is what I thought too. My nephew has a similar toy. 

Nice painting anyway. What did you use for the foliage on the ground?

I'd have to agree - I was trying to remember which one had the spines up the back. The back plates are definitely Stegosaurus in size and shape if not distribution, but the rest of the anatomy is pure Kentrosaurus.

Thanks - apart from the static grass and a tuft or two, the plastic plants are Games Workshop / Citadel Barbed Bracken (for the cycad looking things) and Creeping Vines.
