Popular Post Adrift
In total, 7 different Bob Ross paintings were cannibalized to create these murals. I’d never painted with oils before, but opted to give it a go. I wanted to have awesome landscapes for my players to glance at while their imaginations got immersed in our dnd games. Eventually, I’ll paint the walls something less beige and probably do a thin white line of demarcation to offset them just a pinch from whatever wall color I choose. Though, I’m open to other ideas. They’re painted directly onto the walls. 37

ManvsMini
Very very cool. I suppose Bob Ross never did any paintings of the Nine Hells or the Abyss for you to add for those broader adventures? 😁 2

The next homeowner may hate them and get rid of them for all I know. I’m not selling for another 7 years at least, but you get my drift. 3 hours ago, ManvsMini said: Very very cool. I could possibly see paintings of the Nine Hells and/or the Abyss slightly, slightly lowering your resale value... but maybe not to the right buyer? In the first picture, that sky around the lower mountain range has me thinking you could possibly pull off a Dark Sun mural. It's a really nice evening sky. 2

Kangaroorex
that is an awesome thing and a really great idea. my basement still looks like something out of the 70s (its the paneling, got to be the paneling) but no one goes down there but me. my game room is my dining room and i dont know if vistas and fine china go together (who am i kidding, the only way my walls look like that is if i hire someone else to paint them that way!) Its beautiful work and I love it!
