I started my Benedikt Project. It is going to be a present for my brother Benedikt.

I assume this guy will take me a very along time. The mini sits on my desk for s long time but Progress is slow. Maybe Posting here will get me some Motivation.

 

I will try a style with stark contrasts of light and dark like some of Frazettas works.

The mini will get a special Base but that is a long was to go.

 

So lets get started.

I did Start with blue.

Wow!  That’s a unique choice for an undercoat.  Now I’m really curious where this ends up.

I started with the Cape. It will be a contrast to the blue metal armour. I used an Airbrush to give it smooth shadows other than the Sharp edges of the armour.

I like the result although I am not sure if it is finished.

Finally he is back on my desk.

It is a little frustrating that you can hardly See any Progress while working on the armor.

I did some things next to the armour. Bright fur some work on the shield and sword.

Continued working on the armour. Long way to and still not sure if I will Manage something close to a NMM.

I like the reds contrasting with the blues. The shield is particularly nice

I reach the point where I do not know how to improve the armour. I am not really satisfied but more work gets hardly any progress. Maybe I habe to try another way in the next mini. The Last thing to Start with are the Flash like applications in the shoulder Pads.
