pae
One of these days I'll get the article on cork bases done. I actually took pictures of the basing process for this mini, so maybe I'll get it out this weekend.
Errex
Great mini, Flynn. The colorscheme is very fitting for a druid class character, and the face is also great. Props for the extra special base.
Rodnik
I like what you've done here. It's a very good mini, as I've come to expect from you. However, it *could* use some freehand on the tabbard....
The Shine
flynn Posted on Aug 27 2004, 12:03 PM One of these days I'll get the article on cork bases done. I'd love to read it. Nice base! Her skin tones are right-on too and that loaf of bread looks good enough to eat! God job.
Mengu
Very nice blending, espeially on the skin tones. I like the right side of her face, but the left eye is bothering me a little, the darkline underneath the eyeball needs to move up a little. I know this would be very difficult to fix though, because you would have to repaint the old darkline in flesh. The lower left picture displays a serene look, and that's what I would like to see for the front shot. Her left eyebrow also comes a bit too close to the center as well, compared to her right brow. Also the darklines are a bit too light I think. I gives a dirty look instead of a crisp look. around certain edges. (I've been told the same thing about my darklines recently, and that's probably only why I notice it.) The hair looks great, and I like the neutral color selection with few touches of red and green to set them off. Like the loaf of bread too, though I would have baked it a bit longer
pae
Hey Kev, I just remembered. I did some freehand on the underside of the base. It says: flynn 2004
Rodnik
I guess that'll do....

pae
Errex -- To answer the question you asked me earlier, including the base, the mini is 34mm tall. From her feet to the top of the head is 22mm.

Digital M@
Rockin work there Flynn. I was just talking about how much you have improved over the last year. The change in work work is really dramatic and you were no slouch then either. Keep up the hard work, it has really paid off.
