The project is NOW LIVE so you can discuss it here! Please try to keep things reasonably on topic. We may make a separate information thread later on that specific questions and/or information may be moved to if it's deemed necessary.

I don’t keep up with social media anymore, so I’m definitely bereft of any rumors or details.

If it’s just for common bases, I don’t need any of those. If however, they’re expanding their Bones USA line to begin producing cool bases I can re-base figures on (cobblestone, brick, terrain, sewer grates, etc.), then I’m def in.

I'll give it a look, but if the bases are anything like the current "small" base, as I see "angled", I'm out. (I really hope they add a new version of that base as the current one is sub-standard compared to the rest of the plastic bases they offer). If not there are other companies offering better ones right now.

Also, I'm not sure which lipped bases they are referring too either. I despise the round display aka "Dark Age" style of lipped base.

Again it all comes down to if I can use them in my games (mainly D&D 5e) or not. Again, hoping for the best with this one.

I'm really hoping they won't just be Games Workshop size bases.  There's a real need for 55mm as well as 70mm for those who play Infinity and want consistent bases.

I also really do hope for some textured ones, since there have been a few teasers over time for such, and they'd be rather useful, doubly so since I presume they'd be in Bones USA so could be restocked and/or made on site (or in the same plastic the current ones are, that works too if they're as durable)

I'm in for any size or shape RPG style (straight sides) base they want to make.  If there aren't any of those, I'm likely to pass.

ETA: Although, I will likely put in a dollar just to spam the comments with requests for RPG bases and in case they add them to the Pledge Manager afterwards.

Same, but...

Ed said all pledge tiers would be $10.

I’m not interested in any of the bases Ed said they’ll be producing in the Base Boss 2 KS. But I’ll happily spam the comments for 20mm RPG bases, 20mm slotted bases, 4” RPG bases, and 6” RPG bases.

Details start just before the 49 minute mark of the Nov 4th Reaper Live stream.

Lipped display bases: 120mm, 100mm, 80mm, 50mm, 40mm, and 30mm.

Game line (angled edge): 60mm, 28mm w/o slot, 25mm w/o slot, and 40mm.

Here’s a link to the video. Ed starts talking about it at the linked time stamp.

As a painter, I would love to see something similar to the "Green Stuff World" new hollow bases, as they are fantastic to make custom bases.

The Reaper RPG bases turned upside down work for this - they just have straight sides, instead of the angle.

Yeah I’ve been doing that trick for a while! It’s great because you don’t have to cut a base off of a figure. Just bury it beneath some moulding paste.

Yeah pretty much this. Interesting bases would get me. Plain bases wouldn't.
