The last emperor: dragon bust

Fell in love with this one when I saw him in the VIP bag for reapercon 2016? 
 

delighted to get it with the Kickstarter. 
so much fun to paint.   Was going to to just silver and purple- but the counterpoint of a crown golden horns really sold him as an emperor for me.

 

the xiii is a reference to the dragon empire of 13th age (which was a great RPG) 
 

would love C&C before submitting him for yearly contest.

Great work on the eyes! This is already better than I would do, but if you want some C&C, maybe punch up the edge highlights on the scales and maybe a bit of dingy yellow at the bases of the teeth? (I don't know if the Emperor flosses.)

He is wonderful - I agree with Rigel but want to add maybe some sort of further shading on the grey/silver face parts? The gold horns really make the piece - great call!
