I just stumbled across GMM Studios on the web. Even if you have 0 knowledge about/interest in either of GW's versions of Warhammer, you ought to check out the site, he does some amazing stuff.

No link since he does sell stuff, just google GMM Studios.

That does look brilliant!

The bearded dragon has decided that rampaging for bugs is awesome. Fly, bee, or wasp out the window? FRANTIC pawing at the window wanting to get it. Yesterday got to hunt bumblebees and ants outside... and I think that's all that's in lizard brain right now. "want bees"

Lizard should not have bees as a regular part of diet. Occasional, whatever. But in his mind, they must be the best thing ever.

Samantha our Desert Tortoise is currently obsessed with the deck outside our dining room.  She can go out there and sun for half an hour and turn into "hot rod rock" when she comes back in, cruising at high speed all over the house.  When the energy runs out she finds a spot to collapse, legs splayed, and she barely moves for the next 24 hours.

Hey. Still alive.  Still trying to keep the daughters from imploding.  If I'd known I was going to have 3 teen/tween daughters during a global pandemic I would have made some different life choices.  (Bought a bigger house, maybe.)  Anyway, parenting is still sucking up all my time, energy and sanity, just felt like I was overdue to at least say hello.  Maybe in the fall when I can kick my family out of the house during the day I'll be able to stop by more again.

We're here, and with our worldwide participants [and some insomniacs] we're open 24 hours a day.

I tried to cut my left index finger off at work with the pressure washer today. It has a nice little gash in the pad. It doesn't look too bad, and it's actually mostly numb. But the darned thing is swollen up like you wouldn't believe. I went to the little rural hospital today. They x-rayed it and weren't too worried. The feeling may or may not come back, as the doctor said I got a nerve. I'm still quite worried about the swelling, I think it's full of water. We'll see how it goes tomorrow. I'm headed north to Red Deer anyway, if it looks a mess I'll stop there and ask to see a hand specialist. Hopefully I can avoid surgery.

Oh, heavens knows how good I am at supergluing myself... to my self, the table, the minis, the paints...

It's horrible today. I called HealthLink and they said get thee to a hospital. They think it's infected. I think they should've surgically drained it yesterday, because I think the numbness (which it still is) is compartment syndrome. I told the doctor this yesterday, but I'm an advanced first aider, and he was a doctor, so you know. Off to the big city, hopefully an orthopedic surgeon can solve the dilemma.

Hope that's not permanent and heals up well...  here's a google search link "cannabis and nerve regrowth" to peruse if you're so inclined.

I also accidentally picked up a can of citrus pale ale (All I saw was the word citrus) on the way home, blargh! I never will get the whole "booze" thing.

To be fair, I think the Pale Ale part of that title is at least partially culpable in the atrocity.
