I think that you're right, I've tried thinking of a single one for ten minutes and I'm stumped. They usually have a side portion of "deepfried whatever" too.

Mind you ,we need all these calories to survive the near constant rain. Did I ever use the word "drookit" here on the forums?

I guess I'm moving to Scotland. I mean, you all will be out of the UK before things get too bad there, I bet.

My best technique (aside from hanging up laughing) is to not answer until the phone has rung 5 times.  At that point auto-dialers and scammers mostly hang up.  A real person will wait that long to talk to you.  Anyone who can't wait ten seconds is probably not anyone you wanted to talk to anyway.

I just scream "BUY MY BOOK!" and set the phone down.

In other news, my mom spent last night in the hospital. Which isn't good for a lot of reason, notably The Plague, but she did say that they were planning to send her home today. However, I'm laying the ground work for getting out of my place and my job. I have a kind of humorous story about telling one of my bosses that I might have to quit but it'll have to wait until tomorrow. My belly is empty and my local Taco Bell is doing delivery again.

Well, not the worst news i could get but not the best either.  basically the tumor showed growth but there is no sign of spread so i will take my blessings as i get them.  The tumor is now about the size of a baseball (started 7 years ago as a walnut).  at least is doesnt show any sign of spreading.  they are temporally putting me on a heavier medication before moving me to an alternate med next month after it gets approved.  Such is the joy of being a chronic paitient, as i am sure many here know all to well.

I know exactly what is going to happen now, too - the next time this owner talks to our sales guy, he's going to complain about the lack of training.

I have been on the other end of this.  Regional manager scheduled me for training after I explicitly told her I was going to be on vacation and not even in the same state that week.  Training person showed up at my site and was confused and upset.

Someone asked for food pics.  This was birthday dinner last night. Sooo much meat...

That's sliced brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and wings for 4, with sides of bbq beans and cheesy corn casserole on the side.

I'd have been really pissed if I had to travel for the session. Fortunately, these are just phone sessions.

Stuff like this is why I prefer to schedule all training directly with the person who will be receiving the training.  The sales man continues to stick his nose in and screw things up.

At least someone is paying attention!

This was sunny Scotland today, it was absolutely bucketin' doon, I can only assume that @Chaoswolf and @Kangaroorex are obviously stealing all our good weather!

Best of luck @Kangaroorex! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. I've got a bunch of scans at the end of the month and I just want them to be done already.

I can't make any guarantees, of course, but let me know when you'd like some good weather, and I'll see if I can't arrange a visit. ::D:

Fingers crossed that the meds will go some good.
